Last night, PMSNBC, the Reverend Jackson appeared, and the question, ‘If they repeal health care, what are we facing in this country, a social push-back of some sort? What do you think, Reverend Jackson?\u2019<\/p>\n

JACKSON: Well, a kind of creeping genocide. What is hypocritical is that those who vote against the health care bill themselves have comprehensive health care for their families. You\u2019re talking about more working poor people. Most poor people are not on welfare, they\u2019re not derelicts; they work. Half of the veterans were homeless — men homeless are veterans. A million and a half children who — who are homeless, and they often go to school without adequate health care. So this really is a — a mass march for the kind of humane — human destruction, of the likes of which we\u2019ve never known. We deserve better.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Gee whiz. (laughing) I mean this is just comical. (laughing) Repealing health care is gonna cause all that, gonna cause creeping genocide. Can I read this to you again? (laughing) ‘Well, it\u2019s a kind of creeping genocide. What\u2019s hypocritical is that those who vote against the health care bill themselves have comprehensive health care for their families, talking about more working poor people. Is that what you think? So this really is a mass march for the kind of human destruction the likes of which we\u2019ve never known. (laughing) ‘Repealing health care is a mass march for the kind of human destruction the likes of which we\u2019ve never known. We deserve better.\u2019 And then there\u2019s another answer. He was asked a question, ‘The Republican position on this is, is it heartless?\u2019 And he says, ‘It is heartless. I cannot help getting out of my mind going to a homeless shelter in San Francisco.\u2019 I don\u2019t have time to play you his response, but that\u2019s what he says.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Here\u2019s more from the Reverend Jackson. ‘We, as Americans, deserve a greater sense of humanity and a return on investment. It\u2019s better to have prenatal care and day care on the front side than GL care and welfare on the backside and short life expectancy when it\u2019s unnecessary.\u2019 It also might be nice if the children, illegitimate children of fathers, had them at home rather than on MSNBC answering questions and making no sense.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You gotta hear this Jesse Jackson sound bite. It\u2019s the one I was reading to you. This is on MSNBC and the question, ‘Reverend Jackson, would you consider or describe the Republican position on Obamacare as heartless?\u2019<\/p>\n

JACKSON: Well, it is heartless. I cannot help getting out of my mind going to a homeless shelter in San Francisco. Most folks in that shelter work every day and can\u2019t afford rent and don\u2019t have health care. Who are these people? These are fast food workers who serve us these hamburgers. They don\u2019t have health care. These are cabdrivers who don\u2019t have health care. We, as Americans, deserve a greater sense of humanity and a return on investment. It\u2019s better to have prenatal care and day care on the front side than GL (sic) care and welfare on the backside and short life expectancy when it\u2019s unnecessary.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And more gobbledygook. Okay, so when you go to a homeless shelter in San Francisco, you might see the person who flipped you the burger earlier that day, or you might see the cabdriver who drove you to McDonald\u2019s that day. And none of these people have health care except, remember, McDonald\u2019s had to get an exemption from Obamacare, otherwise they were gonna have to cancel 30,000 people from their health care plan. But the reverend Jackson said they don\u2019t have health care. It\u2019s Obama who is killing their health care. Now, what about this last line? ‘It\u2019s better to have prenatal care and day care…\u2019 Now, folks, he doesn\u2019t even know what he\u2019s saying. Those are syllables he\u2019s been saying for 30 years. It\u2019s a never ending loop in the brain. (imitating Jackson) ‘It\u2019s better to have prenatal care and day care on the front side than GL care and welfare on the backside and short life expectancy when it\u2019s unnecessary.\u2019 I love it. We are surrounded by idiocy, and it\u2019s, of course, thought of as brilliant and wisdom. <\/p>\n

This is Dr. Drew Pinsky. He\u2019s an addiction specialist, addiction medicine specialist. He was on the Adam Carolla show, and a caller said, ‘I\u2019m curious, what is your opinion of Obama\u2019s health care reform?\u2019<\/p>\n

PINSKY: Here\u2019s what I expect. Initially there will be lots of resources for everything, and quickly they will realize that they can\u2019t afford that, they will begin cranking it down, and they will crank it down rapidly so far, very fast, that doctors and hospitals will be working for free, something we\u2019ve become accustomed to, and because it\u2019s the federal government, it won\u2019t respond to anything, and you will see a massive flight of physicians from the field and hospital closures. That\u2019s my prediction.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, let me translate this a bit, \u2019cause in doing so I want to give you the primary reason to repeal this thing fast. Now, we\u2019ve all heard that a lot of the so-called benefits don\u2019t kick in \u2019til 2014 but the tax increases start immediately, next year. That\u2019s true. However, as we\u2019ve seen when McDonald\u2019s and some of these other places learn that their employees, 30,000 of them, are gonna lose health care, what do they do? They get an exemption. So the thought is Obamacare saves their health care. What Obama\u2019s figuring on — and this has been the plan all along. Remember when the Republicans first threatened to veto it and overturn it? Obama said, ‘You go ahead, you go right ahead, bring it on.\u2019 What Obama is hoping, what he\u2019s planning is that 30 million people — that magic number that don\u2019t have health insurance — that somehow they\u2019re told that they do quickly and that any effort to repeal it is then seen as taking away their freebie. <\/p>\n

Obama is counting on the fact that enough of this is gonna get implemented soon enough, the next two years, that repealing it will become impossible because the minute the Republicans try to, it will be just like the senior citizens react when they\u2019re told Republicans want to cut their Social Security. ‘Republicans want to take away your health insurance!\u2019 It\u2019s a dastardly scheme, it\u2019s a dastardly trick, but this is what he\u2019s planning on. He\u2019s planning on getting enough freebies at the outset here, and who\u2019s gonna pay for that? Like Pinsky says, the doctors and hospitals, they\u2019re not gonna be paid for anything. The effort for Obama is to get as much into the hands of people perceived as free as possible so that any effort to repeal this is seen as taking away a benefit and thereby dooming the Republicans and locking in health care in perpetuity. <\/p>\n

That is why this is no time to piddle around the margins. This is why go for this whole thing, and you make them, the Democrats and Obama, you make them defend this on the floor of the House, on the floor of the Senate every week in debate and you make Obama veto it every week. Exit poll data shows that health care was number four on the list of concerns of people. The economy was number one. The two are inexorably tied. The economy is gonna go south precisely because Obamacare is gonna be implemented. The economy is already south. So it\u2019s really crucial that this effort to repeal start in earnest and be broad-based as soon as they can get into it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
