RUSH: Brainerd, Minnesota, Richard, you\u2019re next, great to have you. Rush Limbaugh, the Open Line Friday edition on Wednesday… Well, we\u2019re not doing Open Line Friday, but it feels like it, which is why I said it. How are you?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Fine. Dittos from flyover country, Rush.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you, sir.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Do you remember when Obama was brought into the White House and Bush showed him around for the first time and took him into the War Room and all that? You remember the look on his face when he came out of there, like he\u2019d seen a ghost?<\/p>\n

RUSH: I don\u2019t remember this. I\u2019m sorry.<\/p>\n

CALLER: He came out with a deer-in-the-headlights look. I think this missile thing is completely known about by the administration. That\u2019s why they\u2019re not in panic mode. Look, they\u2019re probably not in any way, shape, or form able to handle it anyway. But I believe that they\u2019re in complete understanding of what was going on out there in the ocean. There\u2019s a point out there called Point Mugu missile range.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: It\u2019s restricted, classified, and they don\u2019t have to tell anybody what they do out there.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And if you get close, you are sent away. It\u2019s not like Area 51 where you can park on a hill with your binoculars and see what\u2019s going on in town. I believe they know what was going on, otherwise we would be in some kinda mode in this country because that looked like an ICBM going out.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well…<\/p>\n

CALLER: That\u2019s a large rocket.<\/p>\n

RUSH: There are only two countries who would have shot this missile off without telling us.<\/p>\n

CALLER: China being one?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, and Russia being the other. ChiComs and Russia. The only two countries that would do this without telling us.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I believe the administration knows what\u2019s going on. Nobody\u2019s come forward and said anything, and if you call the FAA or the airports, they\u2019re not gonna know anything anyway. Anybody you\u2019re gonna get on the phone is not gonna tell you. It\u2019s in that category of ‘We\u2019d tell you but we\u2019d have to kill you.\u2019<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, I know. That\u2019s why the thing is very suspicious to me. ‘Don\u2019t worry about it. Don\u2019t worry about. There\u2019s nothing to worry about. We don\u2019t know what it was, but there\u2019s nothing to worry about.\u2019 The two don\u2019t go together. <\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: All right, I just got a note. They\u2019re coming in all over the place. I got a note from a pilot listening to this program on his HF while at altitude. He heard the call from the guy who talked about this might be a missile at Point Mr. Mugu. He said he used to work at Point Mr. Mugu and there\u2019s no way a missile came from Point Mugu. If you heard that call, the pilot at altitude listening on the HF said that nothing came outta Point Mugu on this, it\u2019s not what happened. Just putting it out there. <\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

That missile was 35 miles out to sea and Point ‘Mr. Mugu\u2019 is not 35 miles out to sea. It had to come from a submarine, folks. Look, there are certain things here that are just obvious. It had to come from a submarine. It\u2019s not a jet contrail. I\u2019ve seen jet contrails all my life, and you\u2019d never see \u2019em on the horizon. (interruption) Well, I don\u2019t know what\u2019s going on. We mighta fired the damn thing. Who knows what it was. The ChiComs might have had a sub out there, who knows, somebody could be giving us a warning. Don\u2019t worry about it, Snerdley.
