I know better than to listen to the &#8216;lamestream media,\u2019 but I\u2019m doing it, and I\u2019m starting to freak out because I\u2019m starting to see&#8230; (sigh) From the Real Clear average polling I\u2019m starting to see things tighten up, and I mean tight, tight, tight and I\u2019m wondering, did the&#8230;?<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Like where?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Pennsylvania for one.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Don\u2019t believe that poll. You talking about Toomey and Sestak?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Well, that\u2019s just one.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Don\u2019t believe that poll. That\u2019s a 10-point race. That\u2019s a t10- or 12- point race for Toomey. Don\u2019t believe that poll.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Okay. I\u2019m seeing&#8230; I\u2019m just looking at averages of lots of polls.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Don\u2019t believe the poll. These polls are designed for two things, fundraising for the Democrats and they\u2019re trying to spur turnout. Remember, who\u2019s doing the polls? These polls are not reflecting public opinion, they\u2019re trying to shape it.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Well, that\u2019s what I believe, too, and I needed to hear you say it and I think America needed to hear you say it because we\u2019re &#8212; I think that some of us, I know myself &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: There\u2019s no energy out there on the Democrat. There\u2019s no energy on the Democrat side. Just make sure you vote. Conservatives are gonna vote. That\u2019s why Reverse Operation Chaos. Give the Democrats a reason to show up, to protect their party &#8212; well, not show up. Stay away. Look, further evidence of this, your question about the polls, this is from Warner Todd Huston. The AP has a story from October 21st (that\u2019s yesterday) that features the news that Democrats in Maryland are turning out in bigger numbers for early voting than Republicans, and we\u2019re seeing stories like this all over the country. This is not true. In this case, according to the Maryland State Board of Elections, early voting in Maryland doesn\u2019t even start until today. So there hasn\u2019t been any early voting in Maryland, certainly not any early voting that\u2019d be featuring the news that Democrats are turning out in bigger numbers than Republicans because early voting hasn\u2019t started in Maryland. Now, it might be worth your while to believe all the polls. Be frightened. Get all your friends out there and your family and get out there to vote and also push Reverse Operation Chaos. If you\u2019re a Republican, vote as your life depends on it.
