CALLER: Thank you. Great to be here. Great to talk to you.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you very much.<\/p>\n

CALLER: If Obama has to face major losses in the House and major losses in the Senate, we better batten down the hatches. This man is gonna lash out at the American people like we have never seen. He\u2019s going to be one very angry man.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah. He already is. You\u2019re exactly right. He\u2019s already starting to do that. The American people are already stupid. We don\u2019t deal with things well when we\u2019re upset and angry. That\u2019s what that New York Times story was all about, that 12-pager. It was all if Obama can\u2019t do it, nobody can. If Obama can\u2019t achieve greatness in Washington, nobody can. If Obama can\u2019t get his face on Mount Rushmore, nobody can. They\u2019ve already started that. You\u2019re very shrewd to perceive that.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, it\u2019s his personality. It\u2019s just the way he is. I think he\u2019s gonna lose it. At some point he\u2019s gonna self-destruct. He\u2019s going to be angry at the Democrats for not showing up to vote, and he\u2019s going to be angry at the Republicans and the independents because they did. So he\u2019s got no place to go. He\u2019s just going to be angry at everybody. And I think we\u2019re going to be the ones that are going to suffer for it. I see executive orders coming down the chute. I see him bypassing Congress as much as he can.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And that scares me.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wait a minute, now. Conventional wisdom on the Republican side is that Obama\u2019s going to have to compromise with us.<\/p>\n

CALLER: There\u2019s no compromise. You were a hundred percent right with that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I know.<\/p>\n

CALLER: It\u2019s his way or the highway. It always has been. It always has been. There\u2019s never a compromise with that man. He doesn\u2019t know the meaning of the word.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, you\u2019re right. It\u2019s not just that, though. It\u2019s he\u2019s serious about his chip-on-the-shoulder agenda about this country. He\u2019s serious this country needs to be cut down to size. He is serious this country has to pay a price for its imperialism. Look, folks, when I was talking to Dinesh D\u2019Souza, the interview for the next issue of the Limbaugh Letter, Dinesh D\u2019Souza\u2019s theory is that Obama\u2019s father was the primary influence on Obama and Obama\u2019s father hated colonialists, anti-colonialist, hated the British. So I asked Dinesh, ‘What\u2019s the difference in colonial and imperialistic?\u2019 He said they\u2019re basically the same thing. The root word of imperialistic is empire, and what did Obama say, ‘The empire is striking back,\u2019 meaning us, his opposition is the empire. I don\u2019t think it\u2019s accidental. He looks at this country as colonialist or as imperialistic, forcing our ways on people, plundering their natural resources, plundering the Third World\u2019s poor people, all for our own selfishness, and it\u2019s time we pay a price. <\/p>\n

Look, it\u2019s not hard to accept — well, it may be hard to accept, but it\u2019s not hard to figure it out. Reverend Wright, look at all of his mentors, black liberation theology. Reverend Wright is one of his mentors. Look at all the people that bent and shaped Obama and formed him as he was growing up. They all have a grudge against this country, they\u2019ve all got some animus toward this country. He\u2019s not gonna compromise. That\u2019s what\u2019s so silly about the Republicans now thinking that the American people want us to compromise with him. The American people don\u2019t want to see this guy reelected. The American people don\u2019t want any of more of his agenda.<\/p>\n

RUSH: We\u2019ve heard from Congressman McConnell\u2019s office. ‘I don\u2019t know where people get these ideas –‘ this is the note ‘– but we have not had any secret meetings with donors to tell them we are not for the repeal of Obamacare. Senator McConnell has voted for repeal and will vote again that way. His position on the issue is simply not in dispute. So we don\u2019t know where people are getting these ideas of secret meetings with donors telling us they\u2019re not for repeal, it\u2019s not happening.\u2019 So that\u2019s from McConnell\u2019s office. I just want to get all this stuff out. If they want to respond or react to what\u2019s said or happens on the program, fine, but I talked to enough of them that it\u2019s a question mark in my mind as to whether they fully understand what this election is about, what the uprising is about, what the whole force of the Tea Party is. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
