RUSH: Who do I like tonight? You gotta go Jets. I mean, there\u2019s —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay. That\u2019s what I wanted to hear.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You got too many problems on the purple side of the ball tonight.<\/p>\n

CALLER: You mean not concerning genitalia?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, no, including genitalia but I wasn\u2019t speaking specifically of genitalia. One thing that Moss may help is the running game. They might have to be able to put as many people in the box they haven\u2019t had a running game. They have not had a running game because the Vikings had not had a deep threat. They do have that with Moss.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: They\u2019re gonna get [Darrelle] Revis back tonight. I think it\u2019s going to be a good game. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah. Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And it\u2019s on the only for the Vikings. They\u2019ll be 1-3 if they lose this thing.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes, and for the Jets, too, if they want to stay on top. Hey, Rush, what I wanted to talk to you about is the liberal entrapment tool that was created with regard to illegal immigration. We saw the Meg Whitman thing. Now they\u2019re doing it to Lou Dobbs. The liberals have created an environment where you cannot question a person\u2019s legal status even though it\u2019s illegal to be here in the country if you\u2019re not here legally. So they create this environment where you can\u2019t question it, but yet when you try to go through whatever legal channels for employment, and you get caught with an illegal, the liberals jump on you! It\u2019s a lose-lose situation. You can\u2019t ask them any further than what the law requires them to provide. You can\u2019t go beyond that question them otherwise you\u2019re labeled a racist, okay?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And then when they find out that the person\u2019s illegal, then they condemn you anyway. So I\u2019m frustrated that nobody sees that. It\u2019s a lose-lose. It\u2019s like entrapment.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah. It\u2019s a setup.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Exactly what you\u2019re saying. I know exactly what you mean, and there\u2019s no question that Meg Whitman took a hit on this, and it\u2019s unfortunate. There\u2019s no question she took a hit on it and she\u2019s going to have to work hard to overcome it. But it\u2019s still exactly as you say. You can\u2019t go too far in asking because then you\u2019re profiling. You\u2019re being racist. But somehow the word spreads. Somehow these people end up with the business card of Gloria Allred. They all end up with that business card! They all have that phone number, toll free. And then a car comes and picks \u2019em up and takes \u2019em to wherever Allred\u2019s press conference is. You know, just follow the red carpet to where you see the cameras. It\u2019s a nice little routine that they have going.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I live in California as you announced, and the daily beating that the conservatives take in California from the liberal media regarding, you know, once again Boxer, Meg Whitman, and this weekend I had the opportunity to attend the Bakersfield business conference where I for the first time got to actually listen to Sarah Palin and Karl Rove and Laura Bush and Mitt Romney. How do you — I mean I\u2019m trying to get a suggestion on how do you keep positive about us winning and all of a sudden it\u2019s this daily beating. Where\u2019s Gloria Allred when Meg Whitman is being called a whore?<\/p>\n

RUSH: You know, we\u2019ve learned here, I think it was Jerry Brown\u2019s wife that actually called her the whore on that phone call.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Nice.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s the latest I\u2019m hearing on this, that\u2019s what Fox News is reporting, that Jerry Brown\u2019s wife called Meg Whitman the whore. People ask me how I stay optimistic. I admit I have an advantage over all of you. I\u2019ve got this microphone. I get to come here for three hours every day and I get to vent. It\u2019s very healthy. I see the changes that have resulted because I\u2019m here. I would be a fool not to be optimistic cause it\u2019s the evidence — and the polling data that\u2019s out there now about where we\u2019re headed, I go back and forth. I mean there are times like you, I see people on our side being decimated and creamed and unjustifiably so and wonder where\u2019s the fairness or justice, but then I realize it\u2019s the rules, it\u2019s the league that we play in.
