RUSH: And we\u2019re back to the phones now, to Wilmington, Delaware, which I practically flew over going into Philadelphia last night. In fact, the arrival route took us right by Lincoln Financial Field and Citizens Bank Park where the Phillies play. I noticed they\u2019ve taken down a big picture of Donovan McNabb on the end zone at Lincoln Financial Field. They have got Jeff McLane, number 10, the wide receiver up there. The lights were all off and we had almost an hour-and-a-half ground delay getting out of Philadelphia last night because of lightning and thunder in the area. So we rolled in here about 2:00 a.m., but it was fine. It was okay. I always have things to do on the airplane. Anyway, Rocky in Wilmington, it\u2019s great to have you here on the EIB Network. Hello, sir. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Hey, Rush, thanks a lot. Listen, super Megadittos from the home state of brain-dead Joe Biden.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you, sir.<\/p>\n

CALLER: It\u2019s a pleasure to speak with you. Rush, I just wanted to say a few things concerning Mike Castle and the RNC here in Wilmington, Delaware. You are right. Mike Castle is fanning the flames of running as an independent. You know, there are rumors going around. What I would say is he has to do what\u2019s best for the people of Delaware. He\u2019s got to get up to everyone who supported him and thank them for their support. He\u2019s got to get up there and say, ‘Now\u2019s the time to stand with me and vote for Christine O\u2019Donnell.\u2019 That\u2019s the only way that this woman\u2019s going to get elected. Two, the other part is — <\/p>\n

RUSH: No, it\u2019s not. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. That is not the only way. I know what you\u2019re saying, but that\u2019s not the only way she\u2019s going to get elected. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, you know, the problem is, uh, if you go down to RNC headquarters — I went down a couple of days ago and I got a few signs — in front of RNC they have Mike Castle signs still up. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah? <\/p>\n

CALLER: When you walk inside, they have Mike Castle stickers and propaganda all over. Now, I asked, you know, ‘Aren\u2019t you going to take these down and put up…?\u2019<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, wait a minute. RNC, you mean Republican National Committee, or do you mean the Delaware Republican Party? <\/p>\n

CALLER: The Delaware National Committee. <\/p>\n

RUSH: The Delaware Republican Party? <\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay. <\/p>\n

CALLER: And I walked in there and I got my O\u2019Donnell signs and they have Castle propaganda all over the place. And I asked, ‘Aren\u2019t you going to take that down and put up O\u2019Donnell?\u2019 And their response was, ‘Well, he\u2019s still Congressman Castle.\u2019 I said, ‘That may be correct, but he\u2019s not running for Congress.\u2019 So, you know, right now everything is against Christine O\u2019Donnell as far as Mike Castle goes. You know, he hasn\u2019t called her on the phone, he hasn\u2019t endorsed her. I\u2019m hoping he would do the right thing by endorsing her — and if I may say one other thing, sir, about Chris Coons. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Yes. By all means.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Two times he ran in the State of Delaware, he won both times. Both times he ran, he pledged not to raise taxes; both times he raised taxes. So, this is someone that Christine O\u2019Donnell is running against and I would put her record up against his any day. And with that, I\u2019ll sit back and listen to your show. Thank you for taking me. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay, Rocky, you bet. I think all this is just… To me it\u2019s axiomatic. Anybody with a D next to their name, you vote against them. And people talk about making things too simplistic? No, we make the complex understandable. I don\u2019t care if this guy has stood for tax cuts and opposed them two times. I don\u2019t care about that. He\u2019s the Democrat. He\u2019s a liberal Democrat. We don\u2019t need any more of them. (interruption) ‘What about the conservative Democrats? What about the Blue Dog Democrats, conservative Democrats?\u2019 Uh, if they\u2019ve got a (D) next to their name, you get rid of them. We\u2019re not pussyfooting around here. They got a (D) next to their name, it\u2019s history. If you\u2019re conservative, come out and say you\u2019re conservative first and put a (C) by your name or join the Republican Party or whatever. ‘But Rush! But, Rush! What about the Reagan Democrats?\u2019 Well, Reagan Democrats are an (R) in front of the (D). They weren\u2019t making any bones about it.<\/p>\n

You know, if Mike Castle is so beloved by the liberals of Delaware, wouldn\u2019t his running as a third party help O\u2019Donnell? Wouldn\u2019t he siphon votes away from what\u2019s his face, this Coons guy? If Mike Castle is so beloved, why is anybody worried about him having a write-in campaign? He\u2019s just going to siphon votes away from all the liberals, right? If he\u2019s so beloved? So go ahead, Mike, do your write-in campaign. Take votes away from this Coons clown. You guys have an argument: Who\u2019s going to raise taxes faster, who\u2019s going to raise them higher. You guys get in a little shouting match over how rotten Christine O\u2019Donnell is. I told the people in the audience in Philadelphia last night, this escapes me. <\/p>\n

All this, people on our side telling me, ‘Rush, I don\u2019t know about Sarah Palin. I\u2019m worried.\u2019 <\/p>\n

‘What? You want four more years of this? You want four more years of Obama and Biden and all the rest of them? You want four more years of assaults on the United States? Where is the question here?\u2019 <\/p>\n

‘I don\u2019t know, Rush. This Christine O\u2019Donnell, you know, she\u2019s got some baggage. She\u2019s a little weird.\u2019 <\/p>\n

‘You want an Obama clone? You want more of Obama? What? I don\u2019t understand this.\u2019 It\u2019ll be six more years, six more years of this! Who wants to, who wants to even try to survive that?\u2019 <\/p>\n

I really don\u2019t think this is complicated at all. You know, I\u2019ve seen Christine O\u2019Donnell. I\u2019ve watched her on television. She\u2019s bright. She\u2019s smart. She\u2019s conservative. I don\u2019t see the problem here. I really… We look around at all of the deadbeat worthless human debris candidates on the Democrat side and we want to start splitting hairs about genuine conservatives who can beat these people? Somehow I missed this train and I\u2019m glad I did. <\/p>\n
