RUSH: Well, the witchcraft comment, everybody is dumping in on this. And the context of this was, she was talking about Halloween and so forth, and it\u2019s just amazing. We know more about Christine O\u2019Donnell right now than we know about Obama. We know more about her than we know about Barack Hussein — and it isn\u2019t gonna work. This kind of stuff is not gonna work. People are attuned to this now. What have the Democrats dabbled in? Let\u2019s see, Democrat Harry Reid collected a $1.1 million windfall on a Las Vegas land sale, even though he hadn\u2019t personally owned the property for three years, property deeds show. Nancy Pelosi\u2019s dabbled in ripping off taxpayers by using military aircraft for personal needs. Obama has dabbled in infanticide. Joe Biden has dabbled in plagiarism. Obama\u2019s good friend, Bill Ayers, has dabbled in domestic terrorism. Valerie Jarrett, Obama\u2019s best female friend, has dabbled in communism. I mean Obama\u2019s dabbled in cocaine, for crying out loud. He even wrote about it in one of his books that he dabbled in cocaine out there. <\/p>\n

I remember how wonderful it was back in the good old days, folks, to have a mom in tennis shoes. Remember old Patty Murray, the Year of the Woman, how wonderful it was to have a mom in tennis shoes running for the US Senate, Patty Murray. What for happened to that attitude from the media when you have people like Christine O\u2019Donnell? Patty Murray\u2019s only background was being an environmentalist wacko which is crazier than dabbling in witchcraft in high school. People that believe a hoax and spread a hoax and cost people money. Could we talk about the Democrat Party and the lives they\u2019ve destroyed with their policies? How about dabbling in Marxism, her opponent in Delaware; how about dabbling in economic destruction, Barack Obama. If you\u2019re worried about witchcraft.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hi. It\u2019s great to talk to you, Rush.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Thank you for having me on. Yeah, I was calling because I was a little bit curious as far as the Christine O\u2019Donnell attacks from the left.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Bill Maher has been on the rampage lately as far as talking about some witchcraft comments that she made —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: — back in \u201999.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And Karl Rove is even now stepping onto the platform to address that on a Sunday show.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, I\u2019ve noticed that, yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And what exactly is Karl Rove\u2019s — seems like obsession with attacking Christine O\u2019Donnell?<\/p>\n

RUSH: I don\u2019t know. I don\u2019t know. I don\u2019t know. You\u2019re not the first to ask me.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Did you know, by the way, sir, I\u2019m going through the Stack of Stuff here \u2019cause I don\u2019t know, men look at bodies, not faces when picking a date. Did you know that?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You did know that. Well, me, too. But I don\u2019t know why —<\/p>\n

CALLER: ‘Cause it seems that, at least for me, the more she gets attacked either by Karl Rove or the left, the more appealing she is to me as a voter —<\/p>\n

RUSH: I think this is what they don\u2019t understand. But clearly, Karl, have you noticed how popular he\u2019s become —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: — among those who wanted formerly to frog march him out of the White House and —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: — put in shackles and put into jail.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah. Well, it\u2019s an interesting observation. It\u2019s something I\u2019m noticing more and more.<\/p>\n

RUSH: What do you think of this witchcraft business?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, people do things in high school and say things and —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, I mean the context of this is that she was — what is she doing on the Bill Maher show anyway? The real question I\u2019ve got is 1999, which is 11 years ago, what the hell is she doing on Bill Maher\u2019s show? I guess that was back when they would take anybody. She\u2019s like 19 years old, I think, am I right, when she\u2019s on this show and they\u2019re asking her, the context of this is something about Halloween, and I don\u2019t have it in front of me, I\u2019m looking for it, she said something, she doesn\u2019t like Halloween or disagrees with somebody, she looked into witchcraft trying to understand — and didn\u2019t like it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Big deal. I mean Mrs. Clinton has openly talked about having seances, for crying out loud, with Eleanor Roosevelt.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And of course Obama even got that wrong. He ripped Nancy Reagan for having seances; it was Hillary who had seances. You know, back when everybody learned that Bill was cattin\u2019 around, we heard that Hillary had talks with Eleanor Roosevelt, channeling Eleanor Roosevelt in the White House, seeking guidance because everybody knew what FDR was doing, wheelchair-bound or not, so she was seeking common ground, solidarity, or what have you. I think what O\u2019Donnell ought to say is — (laughing) ‘Yeah, yeah, I dabbled in witchcraft. I\u2019m trying to deal with how to defeat Pelosi policies.
