RUSH: Hey, there\u2019s another little tidbit here about Hillary Clinton. Greetings, and welcome back. You are tuned to the most listened to radio talk show in America at the Limbaugh Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies. 800-282-2882. Hillary Clinton told a black — now, this matters — no, no. See, the opening of the story, “Hillary Clinton told a black radio host –” Why would it matter? Why would that matter? Well, here\u2019s the rest of the sentence. “– that she always carries hot sauce with her.” <\/p>\n

Now, how many of you knew that that was a big deal? That Hillary\u2019s trying to score points by bragging that she\u2019s always carrying hot sauce with her in her purse. It is. It\u2019s a total stereotype. It\u2019s a total stereotype that they are given credit for, for being able to relate to, because they have empathy, they have caring, they understand. <\/line><\/p>\n

“During an interview with the program called ‘The Breakfast club\u2019 –” you ever heard of it? Okay, I don\u2019t, either. No big deal. Just you haven\u2019t heard of it. The host, the black host by the name of Angela Yee — starting to get real confused now — “During an interview with ‘The Breakfast Club\u2019 Monday morning, Angela Yee asked the Democratic candidate what she always has in her purse.” Why would you ask somebody that? Why would you ask — (interruption) I don\u2019t care. Of course it\u2019s a setup. That\u2019s my point. <\/p>\n

I\u2019m asking rhetorically, why would you ask somebody what they have in their purse? What, are you hoping, “Well, I\u2019ve got some condoms, you never know, Angela.” What are we talking about here? “I\u2019ve got some K-Y jelly for the pole? You know, Bernie\u2019s people are throwing dollar bills at me.” What\u2019s supposed to be in the purse? But Hillary said hot sauce. “Yeah, I\u2019ve got hot sauce in my purse.” <\/p>\n

“‘Now listen, I want you to know that people are going to see this and say, “She\u00c2\u2019s pandering to black people,”‘” said another African-American. “‘Okay,\u2019 Clinton said. ‘Is it working? No, but seriously. I\u00c2\u2019ve been eating a lot of hot sauce. Raw peppers and hot sauce. I think it keeps my immune system strong. Hot sauce is good for you.'” That\u2019s what she told this radio program. Here\u2019s the reason. <\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the reason. Beyonce has a new song out called “Formation.” She sang it at the Super Bowl. It\u2019s not really new, but it\u2019s relatively new. And in that song Beyonce sings, “I got hot sauce in my bag, swag.” I got hot sauce in my bag. So it is total pandering. “I got hot sauce in my bag.” So Hillary is thinking, well, if Beyonce sang it, that means most African-Americans probably not only know it, but they\u2019ve also got hot sauce in their bags, and therefore she\u2019s gonna say she\u2019s got hot sauce in her bag. <\/p>\n

But for her it\u2019s good for her immune system. Keeps her immune system strong. Hot sauce. “I ain\u2019t no ways tired.” Hillary Clinton. I mean, it just continues to gnaw away at me that this woman remains seriously considered. She insults people. She panders to people. And this one is just classic. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Hey Rush, thanks for taking my call.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You bet.<\/p>\n

CALLER: As a black male, let me just say I am tired of every week I turn on the TV and Hillary is speaking, she seems to be on this Hillary Clinton 2016 white guilt apology presidential tour. All she is doing every week is apologizing to these black special interest groups like the National Action Network headed by Al Sharpton for issues that she feels white people have caused black people. I\u2019m a black male. The National Action Network does not speak for me.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, amen.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I am so tired of it. And secondary, as a police officer, I don\u2019t understand how she can constantly get up in front of people every week and defend certain dispositions —<\/line><\/p>\n

RUSH: Because she\u2019s — (crosstalk)<\/p>\n

CALLER: — as a way to get votes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Simon, it\u2019s because she\u2019s shameless, and the fact of the matter is, for a lot of people it does work. I\u2019m with you. All of this pandering to me is insulting, like showing up at Selma, “I ain\u2019t no ways tired.” I mean, who falls for this? And then this latest, she carries hot sauce in her purse, that somehow is supposed to be a stereotypical cliche that\u2019s gonna serve to build a bridge to black people? I never heard of it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: People should be offended by that. This past weekend in Chicago there were three homicides and 23 shootings. Of the 23 shootings was a one-year-old-little girl. How much outrage do you hear from anybody about that?<\/p>\n

RUSH: None, because it\u2019s all happening in a city run by a Democrat mayor.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I feel so used as a black person because I\u2019m tired of turning on the TV and it seems like all she seems to think is Al Sharpton and the rest of Black Lives Matter, they are the only black folks that matter. They do not speak for me, and most black people I know do not care for those groups because they\u2019re more racist than the KKK.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wow. Well, you know, I, for years have been asking myself why this works. It obviously does. I mean, look at the numbers, Simon. Ninety, 93% African-American vote for the Democrat every four years no matter what. Did you, by the way know, there was a white privilege conference every year? The 17th white privilege conference was just held? I had no idea. <\/p>\n

RUSH: White privilege conference. Almost everything bad happening in America is tied to Christianity, among the people who attend this conference, and there have been 17 of them.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, on this white privilege business, I had no idea. I really did not know that there was a White Privilege Conference<\/a>. “The Daily Caller News Foundation is attending the 17th annual White Privilege Conference in Philadelphia, held April 15-17.” It ended yesterday. I\u2019ll boil this down to its essence: The White Privilege Conference is made up of African-Americans, Hispanics, minorities, people of color, including Native Americans, and the upshot comes from activist and author Paul Kivel, K-i-v-e-l.<\/p>\n

“According to Kivel, just about everything bad in the world can be traced to the core ideas of Christianity… ‘In the United States, there\u2019s seven to ten thousand predominantly white, Christian men, who run the major institutions in our society: The corporations, the political parties, the think tanks, the foundations, universities, [and] cultural institutions,\u2019 said Kivel. Kivel made his case that the United States exists as a ‘Christian hegemony\u2019 by asking attendees to consider a variety of ways Christianity quietly influenced their daily lives, such as by making Sunday exist as the normative ‘day of rest\u2019 and by motivating non-profits ranging from the YMCA to drug rehab programs.”<\/p>\n

All of these are scourges, he says, and they derive from “white Christian” hegemony. <\/line><\/p>\n

“From there, he [explained] how Christianity provides the ideological underpinning of just about everything toxic in society… [He] said three problems are particularly severe in the modern world, and all of them are caused or made worse by Christianity. First, he pointed towards wars in the Middle East, which he says are a byproduct of a missionary drive to spread Western ideas and influence in non-Western lands.<\/p>\n

“Second, he declares Christianity is to blame for a weak economy, as it provides the God-like ‘invisible hand\u2019 that supposedly drives market forces within a flawed capitalist system. … Third, Kivel associated Christian hegemony with global warming,” are you ready for this? “because under Christianity, mankind has dominion over the Earth, rather than requiring that humans treat the Earth itself as ‘sacred.'” Now, the details? Forget \u2019em. <\/p>\n

The point is that there\u2019s an all-out assault, folks, on Christianity, and you know it as well as I do, and that\u2019s why all these religious freedom laws in state after state are being written and passed. It\u2019s because these coordinated attacks on Christianity and Christian values — which are now said to be American values — are in full swing, happening full speed ahead. And they wouldn\u2019t be getting anywhere if it weren\u2019t for the fact that they have a home in the Democrat Party. It all comes back to that. You could have this bunch of ragtag protesters, this amalgamation of a bunch of different minorities.<\/p>\n

But if they didn\u2019t have the support of the Democrat Party pushing their agenda… Make no mistake: The Democrat Party is fully behind this. I know you\u2019re saying, “But, Rush! But, Rush! What about all the white Democrat Christians?” Yeah, what about \u2019em? “What about all the Democrat Catholics?” It doesn\u2019t dominate them. They fall into line with it. The Democrat Party owes everything to minorities and minority support. It\u2019s what the Democrat Party is. The Democrat Party is an amalgam of a bunch of different constituencies, individual constituency groups.<\/p>\n

And they are aligned. They have one or two things in common. One of them is hatred of Republicans and conservatives and — increasingly — hatred of America. And they all love big government as the instrument to accomplish their objectives. And that\u2019s what aligns them with the Democrat Party. And since the Democrat Party wants big government, they\u2019ll embrace anybody that wants to join the movement and give outward, tacit approval to whatever each little constituency group\u2019s agenda happens to be. <\/p>\n

You think it\u2019s an accident that Hillary Clinton shows up at Al Sharpton\u2019s conference and starts talking about “white privilege,” condemning it; saying, “We all must be aware of it. We must be guilty! We must understand our role in white privilege and how it\u2019s unfair.” You understand now why “white privilege” is essentially the state of existence at practically every major university in this country? The attack on white privilege. The condemnation of it. The definition of it. It is a growing movement. And it\u2019s perceived to be the majority, so that\u2019s why it\u2019s being blamed; that\u2019s why it\u2019s under attack. <\/p>\n

But, as I say, it wouldn\u2019t have any legs whatsoever if it weren\u2019t for the Democrat Party. <\/p>\n
