RUSH: So there Obama was, ladies and gentlemen, bringing some much needed estrogen to The View this morning on ABC saying the African-American people are a mongrel people. And, by the way, after he leaves The View, maybe before he got to The View, he\u2019s, of course, up there raising money from evil Wall Street bankers. And, of course, the Fake Media does not see the irony in it. <\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

‘President Obama waded into the national race debate in an unlikely setting and with an unusual choice of words: telling daytime talk show hosts that African-Americans are ‘sort of a mongrel people.” Have you ever thought of yourself as a mongrel, Mr. Snerdley? ‘When asked about his background, which includes a black father and white mother, Obama said of African-Americans: ‘We are sort of a mongrel people. I mean we\u2019re all kinds of mixed up,\u2019 Obama said. ‘That\u2019s actually true of white people as well, but we just know more about it.” So white people are mongrels, too, but you African-American mongrels, you know more about it than we white mongrels do. He blamed the media for the Shirley Sherrod firing. ‘President Barack Obama blames the media for creating a ‘phony controversy\u2019 over racial remarks by a black Agriculture Department official that were posted on the Internet. His administration ousted the employee, but then apologized and offered to rehire her.\u2019 On The View today, ‘Obama says the media often seek controversy, not the facts. But he acknowledged that the forced resignation of Shirley Sherrod could also be blamed on those in his administration who overreacted,\u2019 including apparently himself. What a way to start the program. <\/p>\n

We have this mess out in Arizona. The governor out there, we got some great audio sound bites coming up, Jan Brewer is going to file the appeal today. I\u2019ve noticed on this, folks, some commentators on cable and elsewhere are saying that there are some victories to celebrate in this judge\u2019s decision. (interruption) No, I know what a mongrel is. Of course I know what a mongrel is, the offspring of two different breeds of dog. That\u2019s why it\u2019s a very strange way to describe yourself. A mongrel is a dog of no definable breed. You know, let me say that. Let me come up with that description on my own, see what happens. Let me say it not quoting Obama. See what happens. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Hey, The View this morning, President Obama called himself a ‘mongrel.\u2019<\/p>\n

RUSH: Not just himself. He called all African-Americans, and even some white people, ‘mongrels.\u2019<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, is it safe now to say, ‘The son of a bitch has to go\u2019?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hey, campaign slogan!<\/p>\n

RUSH: (laughing) You know… (laughing) I think we got Walter Williams on the phone here, ladies and gentlemen. A campaign slogan. He has to go. The best campaign slogan that\u2019s out there is ‘We\u2019re Not Democrats.\u2019 What bothered you about him using the term ‘mongrel,\u2019 Walter? <\/p>\n

CALLER: It\u2019s not made for humans. The term ‘mongrel,\u2019 you gave the definition. It\u2019s for animals.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And he\u2019s calling himself, he\u2019s calling everybody of mixed dissent ‘mongrels.\u2019<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, it\u2019s safe to say now, ‘The son-of-a-bitch has to go.\u2019<\/p>\n

RUSH: No, you can\u2019t say that! You can\u2019t. You can\u2019t. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I did.<\/p>\n

RUSH: His mother was white. You can\u2019t say that.<\/p>\n

CALLER: (sigh) Well, I did.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You said it. You said it twice. But don\u2019t say it again.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay, promise.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I mean… Whew. We probably have 20 seconds to decide whether or not to bleep this. Do we want to bleep it or not? We\u2019ve got about 15 seconds to decide whether we want to bleep this. We\u2019ve got about ten seconds to decide… I\u2019m told now it\u2019s actually 20 seconds we\u2019ve got to decide whether we want to bleep it, \u2019cause he said it twice.
