RUSH: Trump was just rocking it, by the way, in Rhode Island. He\u2019s back on his roll. Trump, I think, was off on a tangent, is the best way to put it, for a month or so, maybe three weeks, but now Trump\u2019s got the old energy, the old firebrand, the old raconteur personality back. Amidst all this talk that they\u2019re gonna make him presidential, he\u2019s going back to the way he was. He\u2019s fighting that so-called image makeover, and he\u2019s the Trump that everybody was falling in love with at the outset of this. I mean, he was just on fire in Rhode Island a moment ago. <\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: I mentioned that Trump is back to Trump. Trump is back to being Trump. Trump is back on the Trump role. He was in Warwick, Rhode Island, this afternoon. Listen to this…<\/p>\n

TRUMP: Did you see the news today? Did you see where they band together, where they collude? You know, it\u2019s collusion. <\/line><\/p>\n

AUDIENCE: (booing)<\/p>\n

TRUMP: You know, if you collude in business or if you collude in the stock market, they put you in jail. But in politics — because it\u2019s a rigged system, because it\u2019s a corrupt enterprise, in politics — you\u2019re allowed to collude. So they colluded, and actually I was happy. Because it shows how weak they are. It shows how pathetic they are.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Folks, I\u2019m sorry. I can\u2019t let that go by! Am I just supposed to sit here and ignore that? I am, aren\u2019t I? I\u2019m not supposed to… (laughing) I\u2019m not supposed to react to that. There is no criminal enterprise here! (laughing) Gee! Ah, but then, you know, the Trump acolytes are gonna be out there full speed ahead on this meme now. “Oh, yeah! Do you see Kasich and Cruz? They\u2019re cheating! They\u2019re colluding. It\u2019s like Wall Street. If you collude in the stock market; they put you in jail, but not in politics!” (laughing) Colluding! (laughing) I guess you can never cosponsor legislation ever again because you\u2019re colluding. That means…<\/p>\n

Anyway, here\u2019s the next Trump sound bite. <\/p>\n

TRUMP: I heard it last night at 11:30. I was called, and they said, “Sir, Kasich…” We call him 1-for-41. I thought it was 38. He\u2019s won one race in 41 states. One, okay? States and islands. So I call him now — I have a new nickname for him –1-for-41. Very soon it\u2019s gonna be 1-for-46 or seven.<\/p>\n

AUDIENCE: (edited cheers)<\/p>\n

TRUMP So he\u2019s goin\u2019 nowhere.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And it wasn\u2019t finished. Once you step into it with Trump, you had better be prepared to be swallowed, \u2019cause that\u2019s what\u2019s gonna happen to you. Here we go again…<\/p>\n

TRUMP: Now you look at Kasich. I don\u2019t think he knows what… You know, did you see him? He has a news conference all the time when he\u2019s eating. I have never seen —<\/p>\n
