RUSH: Let\u2019s listen to Fortney ‘Pete\u2019 Stark California attack another constituent, typical Democrat behavior, last Saturday in Fremont, California. A guy in the audience asks a question about border security. <\/line><\/line>STARK: The Minutemen want to have something to say?<\/line><\/p>\n

CONSTITUENT: Yep.<\/p>\n

STARK: What? Who you going to kill today?<\/p>\n

CONSTITUENT: Who are we going to kill today?<\/p>\n

STARK: Yeah.<\/p>\n

CONSTITUENT: Well, I just I\u2019d like to know — well, actually American citizens are being killed right now by this drug war that\u2019s going on.<\/p>\n

STARK: That\u2019s… That\u2019s right.<\/p>\n

CONSTITUENT: Okay, I want to know why the federal government is not doing anything, or a lot more, to seal our borders in this country so that we\u2019re a solvent country again.<\/p>\n

STARK: Well, we can\u2019t get enough Minutemen armed. We\u2019d like to get all the Minutemen armed so that they could stop shooting people here.<\/p>\n

CONSTITUENT: It\u2019s not our job. We\u2019re just citizens. It\u2019s the United States government\u2019s job, constitutionally, to protect us.<\/p>\n

STARK: If you knew anything about our borders — <\/p>\n

AUDIENCE: (applause)<\/p>\n

STARK: — you would know that that\u2019s not the case. Our borders are quite secure, thank you. <\/p>\n

CONSTITUENT: This is a very serious gathering. You\u2019re sitting here making fun of it.<\/p>\n

MAN: Yeah.<\/p>\n

WOMAN: Yeah.<\/p>\n

STARK: I don\u2019t have to make fun of you, sir. You do a fine job.<\/p>\n

RUSH: (laughing) Fortney ‘Pete\u2019 Stark insulting a constituent. Now, you know, what I find amazing? This is Fremont, California, and we got somebody — somebody! — who showed up out there who\u2019s concerned about the border. What do you think the odds of that are, a constituent town hall in California and somebody actually showed up who cares about the border? The one person in California that might be concerned about it actually found his way in there and accused Fortney ‘Pete\u2019 Stark of making fun of him. ‘No, no, sir. You\u2019re doing a good enough job of that yourself.\u2019 You want to hear some Fortney ‘Pete\u2019 Stark greatest hits? He said we are killing Iraqis for amusement.<\/p>\n

STARK OCTOBER 18 2007: They sure don\u2019t care about finding $200 billion to fight the illegal war in Iraq. Where you gonna get that money? You gonna tell us lies like you\u2019re telling us today? Is that how you\u2019re going to fund the war? You don\u2019t have money to fund the war or children, but you\u2019re going to spend it to blow up innocent people if we could get enough kids to grow old enough for you to send to Iraq to get their heads blown off for the president\u2019s amusement.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That was on the House floor in 2007, October the 18th, Fortney ‘Pete\u2019 Stark. This is during a debate on the children\u2019s health bill and how to pay for it — and of course back then we didn\u2019t have any money. We didn\u2019t have any money. Have plenty of money now. So, yeah, here\u2019s another guy to put in the potential roster to replace Larry King. Fortney ‘Pete\u2019 Stark, along with… (interruption) Seacrest, no. Seacrest has got too much to lose to go on that show. But you could put Helen Thomas. She\u2019s on there. Put Katie Couric in there. And this guy, Fortney ‘Pete\u2019 Stark, who puts the ‘stark\u2019 in ‘stark raving mad.\u2019 You\u2019ve heard the phrase ‘stark raving mad\u2019?
