<\/p>\nRUSH: Well, this is pretty interesting. Joe Bite Me is giving a telepromptered speech right now in Delaware, in Wilmington, and he\u2019s telling everybody that Trump is presenting a false choice. You can\u2019t just say open up and go back to work. You can\u2019t just do that. That\u2019s putting public health at risk, and it\u2019s irresponsible. There\u2019s a better way to do it. Of course, this is, in a nutshell, what the election\u2019s gonna be all about.<\/p>\n

These people in the Democrat Party are hell-bent on keeping everything as much as they can locked down and shut down. They don\u2019t care what damage ensues as long as it is inflicted primarily on Donald Trump. They don\u2019t care about the damage it causes you. They don\u2019t care about the hardship that it causes, they don\u2019t care about your lost business, they don\u2019t care about your lost job.<\/p>\n
And Joe Biden trying to tell everybody that the president\u2019s presenting a false choice, you just can\u2019t say open up, and you just can\u2019t say open the schools, it\u2019s more complicated than that, and Trump is putting everybody at risk, and it\u2019s time he either got out of the way or started doing his job in the right way or some such thing. I didn\u2019t have time to watch the whole thing. I just saw a couple minutes of it. But it did illustrate the stark contrast that will be on the ballot on November 3rd.<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s Biden. “I have a bold plan to build the economy.” There isn\u2019t a Democrat in the world that has a plan to build the economy. “We can create millions of jobs with infrastructure and a clean energy future.” When\u2019s the last time the Democrats did any of that? They don\u2019t build economies. Obama didn\u2019t.<\/p>\n
BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n
RUSH: We have some sound bites of Plugs\u2019 speech here. They trotted him out. I think he was in the basement with the American flag behind him, and the teleprompter. And we\u2019ve got three bites from Bite Me, and here is the first one.<\/p>\n
BIDEN: Nineteen states reported record cases, including Florida, which saw more than 15,000 new cases in a single day. Hospitalizations and deaths, two of the most concerning indicators of Trump\u2019s failed response, are already unacceptably high and they are rising. It\u2019s gotten bad enough that even Donald Trump finally decided to wear a mask in public.<\/p>\n
RUSH: “It\u2019s gotten bad enough.” So they think this guy has a chance against Trump. You just heard, they can\u2019t trot him out very often. Now, they had him on prompter so he can\u2019t screw up the words, but you can\u2019t hide the fact that the guy is aged. But the hospitalizations and the death rate and the number of cases, how in the world is that Trump\u2019s fault or anybody\u2019s fault?<\/p>\n
We\u2019ve got a virus that\u2019s spreading out there. When AIDS was spreading, you know what the left did? They tried to blame Reagan for it. They tried to blame Ronald Reagan for AIDS. AIDS activists, all leftists, are running around saying if Reagan would have just talked about it, then it wouldn\u2019t have existed. They politicize everything and blame the most prominent Republican or conservative of the day for whatever is going wrong.<\/p>\n
Biden said 15,000 new cases in a single day. He did not say 50. Said 15. There\u2019s Trump in the mask. We\u2019re putting it up on the Dittocam. That\u2019s at Walter Reed Army hospital. Is that not badass or is that not badass? Versus you got Biden and his mask is hanging off of his left ear. We have that in our reservoir up there as well. Here is the second sound bite in Bite Me\u2019s speech in Delaware today.<\/p>\n BIDEN: Mr. President, “open everything now” isn\u2019t a strategy for success. It\u2019s barely a slogan. Quit pushing the false choice between protecting our health and protecting our economy. All it does is endanger our recovery on both fronts.<\/p>\n RUSH: Wait a minute. Stop the tape. This is exactly my point. He\u2019s trying to tell you we can\u2019t do both. We cannot open our economy and protect our health at the same time. We\u2019ve gotta choose. And if we protect our health and our economy has got to be perhaps irreparably damaged. And that\u2019s the choice they want to present? That is absolute BS. We can and we have to do both.<\/p>\n We have to stay open. We have to open even more. We have to protect the people who are most vulnerable and let the others live their lives. But the idea “‘open everything no\u2019 isn\u2019t a strategy for success, it\u2019s barely a slogan. Quit pushing the false choice between protecting our health and protecting our economy?” If we can\u2019t do both of those things at the same time, then we don\u2019t deserve anything.<\/p>\n This is absolutely outrages. That we can\u2019t protect our health and protect our economy at the same time. And who is it that\u2019s making this choice? It\u2019s the Democrats. It\u2019s Biden. We have to make a choice \u2019cause we\u2019re incapable of doing both. And we have to do what we have to do to protect our health. And we have to say sayonara to the economy. Well, remember what all this is about. November 3rd. This is all about irreparable damage, they hope, to Donald Trump. Here\u2019s the bite again.<\/p>\n BIDEN: Mr. President, “open everything now” isn\u2019t a strategy for success. It\u2019s barely a slogan. Quit pushing the false choice between protecting our health and protecting our economy. All it does is endanger our recovery on both fronts. Mr. President, please listen to your public health experts instead of denigrating them. Do your job, Mr. President, because if we can\u2019t deal with the public health crisis, we can\u2019t deal with the economic crisis<\/p>\n RUSH: Well, you just got through saying we can\u2019t deal with both of them at the same time, that it\u2019s a false choice to try to deal with both at the same time, so what do you want to do? “If we can\u2019t deal with the public health crisis, we can\u2019t -” why not? We can do both. This is my whole point. We can do both, and we have to do both. We have had tough challenges like this. We\u2019ve overcome them in the past. This idea that we as Americans can\u2019t do this, can\u2019t do that, can\u2019t go over there, shouldn\u2019t there, this is absurd. Finally, here\u2019s Biden proposing the — well, the Green New Deal.<\/p>\n BIDEN: In my first four years, we\u2019re going to get four million buildings all across this country the same energy makeover that you get here at Chase, the Chase Center. It\u2019s going to create at least one million jobs in construction, engineering, and manufacturing in order to get it done. When Donald Trump talks about improving efficiency by retrofitting lighting systems with LED. bulbs, remember what he said? He said he doesn\u2019t like LED. because, quote, “The light\u2019s no good. I always look orange.” End of quote. “The light\u2019s no good. I always look orange.”<\/p>\n RUSH: Yeah. Just like you probably believed it when he said, “Hey, Russia, if you could help us find Hillary\u2019s emails, send them to the media, the media\u2019s looking.” These people are colorless, humorless. They\u2019re almost robotic. Biden clearly is. Now, Biden said that Florida saw more than 15,000 new cases in a single day. He did not say 50,000. You can find fault with things like that. But Trump hadn\u2019t sent anybody anywhere. Oh, and the mask. The worst thing you Democrats did was demand that Trump wear a mask because there\u2019s nobody in this country looks better in a mask that Donald J. Trump. He looks badass in that mask<\/a>.
