Zev Chafets, who has a book coming out May 25th (called Rush Limbaugh: An Army of One) has sort of a preview of the book in a column today, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1595230637?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=theofficiw0c2-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=1595230637\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/01125111.Par.89380.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"236\" height=\"318\" class=\"alignright\"\/><\/a>The Limbaugh Victory, and it\u2019s not just about Tuesday, it\u2019s about the past year. I was informed of it last night. I saw it last night when they posted it on their website. I looked at it and said, &#8216;How did this get past Bill Keller? How did this get past Jill Abramson and how did it get past Gail Collins? How did it get past any of the editors at the New York Times?\u2019 (interruption) No, I\u2019m not going to read it. We\u2019ve linked to it at RushLimbaugh.com. You know, Snerdley, I don\u2019t like talking about myself that much. <\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the point: It\u2019s the third most popular (i.e., the third most e-mailed) article in the paper today. It is the most popular op-ed in the New York Times today. It\u2019s published right there on page A-27 right along with Nicholas Kristof, who is a staff columnist. It is number eight on the overall list, which includes the cumulative totals from previous days as well, and it\u2019s rising every hour. So&#8230; (interruption) I\u2019m not going to take the time. <\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Ladies and gentlemen, I know I said that I might read Zev Chafets\u2019 column in the New York Times today, &#8216;The Limbaugh Victory,\u2019 but I\u2019m not going to read it. (interruption) No, I\u2019m not going to read it because the New York Times needs hits. They\u2019re just in trouble over there. There aren\u2019t enough people visiting their website. Even though they\u2019re preparing to go behind a pay wall in January, they\u2019re still in trouble. And, you know, we want to help out wherever we can, and this column is already the most e-mailed column on the op-ed page. It\u2019s the third most e-mailed column or story in a whole paper. (interruption) All right. Snerdley wants just a tease. His strategy was simple. &#8216;His strategy was simple. With Democrats controlling Congress, Mr. Limbaugh saw that there was no way to stop the president\u2019s agenda. He dismissed the moderates\u2019 notion that compromising with the president would make Republicans look good to independents. Instead he decreed that the Republicans must become the party of no, and force Democratic candidates &#8212; especially centrists &#8212; to go into 2010 with sole responsibility for the Obama program and the state of the economy. And that is what has happened.\u2019 All right, that\u2019s an excerpt from Zev Chafets\u2019 &#8216;The Limbaugh Victory,\u2019 and this is a preview to his book. I did participate in the book. It\u2019s Rush Limbaugh: Army of One. The publish date is May 25th.
