First thing, happy anniversary.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Thank you.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: And, secondly, so I called in about two years ago, talked about your <a href=\"https:\/\/rushlimbaughshowstore.com\/\">Rush Revere books<\/a> and how I\u2019m dyslexic and that I love reading them.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Oh, yeah.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rushrevere.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-293611 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/APP-Rush-Revere.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/APP-Rush-Revere.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/APP-Rush-Revere-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>CALLER: And at that time no one knew I was dyslexic. I was ashamed of it. I was in a dark place. Hated it. Since then, after I got done, I was like, &#8220;Wow, that\u2019s cool. I talked to Mr. Limbaugh. That\u2019s so cool.&#8221; Then I was like, &#8220;Whoa. I just told millions of people that I have dyslexia and didn\u2019t even think about it and that it wasn\u2019t a big deal.&#8221; And so since then it\u2019s allowed me to have the confidence to really help get me through a lot of things with my dyslexia, and it\u2019s gotten light years better. I mean, it was a turning point in my life. So I just want to thank you for that.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: So you\u2019ve simply by admitting it to people you don\u2019t have to hide behind it, you mean, or act &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yes, sir. I mean, it was controlling my life. And once I got out of it, it\u2019s really opened me up.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: You know what? You found out that people are amazingly tolerant and it wasn\u2019t a big deal to them. They weren\u2019t gonna judge you because of it.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yes, sir.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, that\u2019s awesome.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: And I just really appreciate you and everything you do. You\u2019ve helped me get politically smart. And I just really appreciate you.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, you\u2019re already politically smart. You\u2019re listening to the program. The proof is abundant there. I\u2019m so glad to hear that. You successfully came out from under that barrier that people are in when they\u2019re so concerned about what other people think of them. You have successfully escaped that. More power to you. That\u2019s absolutely awesome.
