CALLER: Hello. How are you today?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Fine. Thank you very much.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I had a question for you because they spent however much money on the Census commercials, and I got my Census and I filled it out and I sent it back. I wondered if you heard about this, it\u2019s called the American Community Survey, and it came in the mail for me today, and it\u2019s from the Census Bureau, it\u2019s actually signed by Robert M. Groves, the director of the Department of Commerce, and it told me that I have to fill it out by law just like the Census. And so I\u2019m filling it out, it says it takes about 38 minutes to do it, and I\u2019m looking at the questions, and I\u2019m like, ‘Why do I have to tell this to some random person?\u2019 I mean it\u2019s the most ridiculous questions, like because of the physical, mental, or emotional condition, does this person have serious difficulties concentrating, remembering, or making decisions? Like what the heck, I\u2019m just confused, like how much of this do I have to fill out —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, you know, I\u2019d have fun with it. I haven\u2019t seen the form.<\/p>\n

CALLER: It\u2019s literally like 40 questions per person.<\/p>\n

RUSH: If you get a question out there that says physical, mental, or emotional condition, does this person have serious difficulty concentrating, ‘Yes, so much so that I can\u2019t answer this question.\u2019<\/p>\n

CALLER: (laughing) Well, it doesn\u2019t give you a line to say that, but it\u2019s just like yes and no questions. I mean has this person given birth to any children in the past 12 months? Like how does this affect our country? Like I just don\u2019t get it, like it\u2019s asking me if I have a bachelor\u2019s degree and how many kids I have in my house, which in the census I already filled out. So, what penalty by law? It says you will be penalized if you don\u2019t fill this out. What is the penalty? Do you know? I mean, I\u2019m just kind of confused.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I don\u2019t know, probably jail. You\u2019re talking the Obama administration.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I know. That\u2019s what I was thinking. I\u2019m like, great, Obama sent out this thing, and it says it\u2019s totally random, and it doesn\u2019t even say our name on the front, it just says to the resident of our address, and I\u2019m like, so, like, how are they going to, like, what are they going to do, come to my house and —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, if they\u2019re not satisfied with the answers, they will come to your house, yes.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Are you kidding me?<\/p>\n

RUSH: No, I\u2019m not kidding.<\/p>\n

CALLER: That\u2019s legal?<\/p>\n

RUSH: It\u2019s already happened. I\u2019ve read accounts it\u2019s already happened to people, they come to the house. In fact, they\u2019ve come to the house two or three times and they\u2019re harassing people even though they\u2019ve got all the answers they want.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Why? What is them knowing if I speak another language at home —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wait a second. Who did you vote for?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Of course I voted for McCain.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, then you ought to know what this is all about.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I not only voted for him, I worked on his campaign to no end until my fingers were bloody because I was like, dear God, I am not a socialist, I don\u2019t want to be a socialist, and I don\u2019t want to live in a socialist country.<\/p>\n

RUSH: All right, you understand what\u2019s going on here.<\/p>\n

CALLER: It just blows me away, like I wonder if I leave them blank are they really going to come to my door and start asking me questions and can they really do something to me? I mean I don\u2019t want to answer this. How many times has this person been married?<\/p>\n

RUSH: They want you to think so, just like the IRS wants you to fear being audited —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: — they want to you fear the black boots coming to your house, the black booted jackbooted whatever thugs, they want you to fear whatever the penalty is, so they want you to fill it out, they don\u2019t have enough people to go to everybody\u2019s houses.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I guarantee you my luck is they\u2019d come to my house, and I just don\u2019t know what to say to them, I want to say, ‘Look, you\u2019re asking some really personal questions. I don\u2019t see how it affects the census in any way, shape, or form.\u2019 And it says that it\u2019s totally random, so why am I being — I just don\u2019t understand. I wondered if you had heard about it because it is literally like 28 pages long and it\u2019s like you better answer all of the names and —<\/p>\n

RUSH: I know, look, I\u2019ve heard about it. But see, this is where we differ. None of this surprises me. We know who we\u2019re dealing with here. We\u2019re dealing with total control statists. We\u2019re dealing with people who want to intimidate populations into conforming with the rules that they propose and implement. I\u2019m not surprised by any of it. We tried to warn people here what was headed down the tracks. I don\u2019t know what to tell you to do. I haven\u2019t seen the form. I did not get my warning that the form was coming and I did not get my form. So I\u2019m probably going to get a visit at some point. But I\u2019m not surprised by anything you say. I\u2019m really long here, I just noticed the clock. Emily, I\u2019m sorry I\u2019m not more help here. But you should answer your own question, ‘What are they trying to do? It\u2019s random, what do they think they\u2019re doing?\u2019 They are trying to intimidate you into giving answers that you think will keep them off your back, and they\u2019re trying to redesign congressional districts, they\u2019re trying to rig future elections in favor of Democrats. There\u2019s a whole bunch of stuff rolled up into this, but first and foremost is the intimidation of citizens. <\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: All right, Emily from Jacksonville, I missed something crucial that you said. I\u2019m sorry. You said you\u2019d already gotten the Census form and this was a supplemental. Now, there are not two Census forms, and the thing that you got — there\u2019s a lot of fraud in the Census out there, a lot of people sending out phony forms to fill out, send \u2019em back, and there are phony Census Bureau people coming to your people\u2019s doors. And this happens every census. <\/line> <\/line>Now, I gotta be honest here, I have not ever seen a Census form since I left home at age 20. Wherever I\u2019ve lived, I\u2019ve never gotten one, so I haven\u2019t seen this one. But I just talked to Brian. He said his was two pages, they basically want to know your race, how many people live in the house, and where you like to vacation or whatever the hell. It was two pages, was nothing to it. But I checked the e-mail, a lot of people are getting a second supplemental form they think is from the Census, and it may not be. I don\u2019t know how to identify it. I guess I should go out and try to get a Census form here so I know what I\u2019m talking about. I haven\u2019t seen one; I\u2019m 59 years old. I haven\u2019t seen a Census form in almost 40 years. I don\u2019t know what they — I\u2019ve never talked to a Census person. I\u2019ve never been counted, that I know of. I don\u2019t know how that happens. I mean, my — but it hasn\u2019t. <\/line><\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay, now I\u2019m fully informed. What Emily got in Jacksonville is legit, it\u2019s the American Community Survey form. It goes out randomly every year to people, the Census once every ten years, but the American Community Survey form goes out randomly to people, and it\u2019s up to you– I mean, they\u2019ll try to harass you to get you to fill it out, I suppose. I don\u2019t know what happens to you if you don\u2019t. Census is another matter, they can fine you for that.
