FLYTHE: It\u2019s just going to be like Christmas, I mean it\u2019s going to be great. No worries, you know, the bills, we can go ahead and pay our copay and be all right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: It\u2019s going to be like Christmas. No worries. No bills. Go ahead and pay our copay and it will be all right, that\u2019s it, going to be like Christmas. Listen to it and weep. I mean that\u2019s why Obama\u2019s got a 46% approval rating, folks, right there. <\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: People want to hear this again. This is a citizen in Raleigh, North Carolina, last night, WRAL-TV Eyeball News, uninsured patient DeCarlo Flythe. The TV people went out and found this guy, and they asked him about the passage of health care reform. <\/p>\n

FLYTHE: It\u2019s just going to be like Christmas, I mean it\u2019s going to be great. No worries, you know, the bills, we can go ahead and pay our copay and be all right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: It\u2019s going to be just like Christmas. They told us this when Medicare was signed into law, nobody\u2019s got any worries anymore, nobody\u2019s going to have any more problems financially now because we\u2019ve signed Medicare into law. Ted Kennedy, may he rest in peace, gave us the HMO system. Ted Kennedy invented it and created it. Everybody complains about the HMO system. <\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/line><\/line>RUSH: Play audio sound bite 31 again. People always say how is it that Obama\u2019s got $46% approval in the polls? It\u2019s because of this. <\/line><\/p>\n

FLYTHE: It\u2019s just going to be like Christmas, I mean it\u2019s going to be great. No worries, you know, the bills, we can go ahead and pay our copay and be all right.<\/line> <\/line>RUSH: That\u2019s DeCarlo Flythe. I know by now everybody knows who DeCarlo Flythe is. DeCarlo Flythe is well known, almost as well known as Marcelas. It\u2019s spelled F-l-y-t-h-e, sort of like William Jefferson Blythe Clinton, this is DeCarlo Flythe, F-l-y-t-h-e. DeCarlo, I need you to call a woman in Tampa. Shortly after Obama was immaculated, he did a town hall in Atlanta and a woman stood up and said, (paraphrasing) ‘I need a new kitchen in my house and I actually need a new car, what are you going to do for me?\u2019 and Obama said, ‘We\u2019ll have somebody on staff get with you.\u2019 A bunch of people at that press conference stood up and said things they were going to need. You need to find that woman, DeCarlo, and ask her if she\u2019s got her new kitchen from Obama\u2019s stash and her new car. And then there are some people in Detroit you might want to talk to who thought they were going to be getting stimulus vouchers, access to $15 billion of stimulus money. Unemployed people in Detroit were told to go down to some federal building or city hall and sign up. <\/line><\/p>\n

And, you know, our radio affiliate sent cameras and microphones down there and said where is this money coming from? Coming from Obama, Obama\u2019s stash. DeCarlo, there\u2019s a lot of people who thought Christmas was coming. You need to get a hold of them and find out if it has, and I don\u2019t think it has, DeCarlo. I think since that town hall meeting in Tampa, about three million more people have lost their jobs than were working at the time. Existing home sales declined in January, third consecutive month. Nobody except us — and I mean all of you in this audience — nobody is talking about the absolute inability to pay for any of these programs now. We are broke; we are in debt; we have a deficit of one-and-a-half trillion dollars this year, $14 trillion dollar national debt. It\u2019s incomprehensible. It\u2019s incomprehensible, and there\u2019s no way of paying it back. But under the premise of paying it back, DeCarlo, get ready, your taxes are going to be skyrocketing, everybody, value-added tax, it\u2019s going to happen. <\/p>\n

I say this with a smile on my face. I shouldn\u2019t be smiling because it\u2019s a crying shame what is being done to the country. I remember Obama constantly arguing against cutting taxes to help the economy. He said we couldn\u2019t go back to the same old, tired ideas that gave us the financial crisis in the first place. Well, what is new about health care reform? What in the world\u2019s new about it? Isn\u2019t it just doing more the same that got us into the problem in the first place, only worse? It most definitely is.<\/p>\n
