For example: &#8216;According to Peter Clarke, a Navy shipmate, Massa was notorious for making unwanted advances toward subordinates. He tells the story of his friend Stuart Borsch, with whom Massa shared a hotel room while on leave during the first Gulf War. &#8216;Stuart\u2019s at the edge of the bed,\u2019 Clarke says Borsch told him at the time, &#8216;and [Massa] starts massaging him. Massa said, &#8216;You\u2019ll have to get one of my special massages.\u2019 He called them &#8216;Massa Massages.&#8221; Ron Moss, a Navy shipmate and Borsch\u2019s roommate, confirmed that Borsch told him this story at the time. &#8230; Clarke says that Massa\u2019s roommate, Tom Maxfield, was also assaulted. &#8216;Tom lived on upper bunk,\u2019 Clarke said. &#8216;When you\u2019re on ship, you\u2019re almost exhausted 24-7. So a lot of times you sleep with your uniform on. Tom and Massa shared a stateroom together. Massa climbed up on the top of his bunk, which is hard to do&#8211;you never crawl up on somebody else\u2019s bunk. He wakes up to Massa undoing his pants trying to snorkel him.&#8221; I kid you not. And this, ladies and gentlemen, is in The Atlantic. This is in TheAtlantic.com. He wakes up to Massa undoing his pants trying to snorkel him. What the hell is that? We\u2019ll just have to imagine. <\/p>\n<p>And Washington Post: &#8216;Nancy Pelosi\u2019s office was told of concerns about Eric Massa.\u2019 You know, this is how they got Foley out of there. The Democrats knew about Foley and the pages and they held it and they held it and they held it. They gave it to Brian Ross right before the 2006 elections and now the same accusations are being made here that Pelosi and Hoyer, Pelosi, (imitating Pelosi) &#8216;Well, I had heard rumors, but I didn\u2019t know these details. What a sad guy, what a very, very sad guy.\u2019 The Washington Post story describes &#8216;a lunch date that Massa made with a congressional aide in his 20s who worked in the office of Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.). According to a person briefed on the call, Racalto was concerned that the lunch followed a pattern by Massa &#8212; who is married and has two children &#8212; of trying to spend time alone with young gay men with no ostensible work purpose.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Gerry Studds got a standing O for announcing he did this kind of stuff when he was in the House. (interruption) You know, Snerdley, that\u2019s an excellent point. We were told this kind of stuff doesn\u2019t happen in the military. Anyway, the point is the Democrats knew all of this. They knew a lot of this and they just sat on it. &#8216;Republican leaders cited as precedent the committee\u2019s 2006 decision to investigate claims that Mark Foley, a Florida Republican, sent sexually explicit messages to former male pages. The committee\u2019s decision came after Foley stepped down from Congress. &#8230; The Washington Post reported Tuesday that the claims relayed to the ethics committee were far more serious than that, involving multiple incidents and potential victims almost as far back as January 2009, when Massa took office.\u2019 The Politico has the story: &#8216;Pelosi Aide Knew of Massa Concerns far Earlier than Previously Known.\u2019 She took no action and is laying it off on her staff. Well, the staff didn\u2019t tell me, we knew that there were rumors and so forth. <\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: I don\u2019t know where the scandal is with Eric Massa. I mean so? He\u2019s performing these kinds of sexual acts in the Navy, and I thought the Democrats &#8212; you know, don\u2019t ask, don\u2019t tell. Where\u2019s the scandal? No big deal. This guy is a tea bagger, if you want to know. Not a tea partier.<\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Now, let\u2019s put this in proper perspective. Let\u2019s go back and look at the whole Mark Foley circumstance. Pelosi and the other Democrat leadership knew about Mark Foley for months &#8212; and what was he accused of? Texting pages! Whatever Foley was accused of doing, it\u2019s like far less than what Massa did do, all right? But the Foley thing involved &#8216;children,\u2019 pages, teenagers. Pelosi and the Democrat leadership sat on the Foley information until the day after the deadline for putting people on the Florida ballot, so that they could run against Foley or a blank space &#8212; and, of course, they won the Foley seat. They are that venal, folks. They were willing to allow this &#8216;exploitation,\u2019 so-called, of House pages to go on and on and on for months and months and months just to take a congressional seat. That\u2019s who we\u2019re dealing with out there in Pelosi. <\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s 360-2 to reopen the investigation to look into when Pelosi knew, and it\u2019s a bunch of Democrats that didn\u2019t vote here, and some Republicans, too. That\u2019s kind of interesting. That kind of tells us where the Democrats find themselves. That kind of tells us what the Democrats really are, and that is: Scared to death of everything going on regarding their electoral chances in November. <\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/01125110.Par.4584.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignright\"\/>RUSH: I\u2019ll tell you what, these guys at the DNC, they hate me, which I don\u2019t mind. I want you to listen to this. This afternoon on MessNBC, the hapless Contessa Brewer asked a question written for her on the teleprompter of this Woodhouse guy, DNC. Here\u2019s the question they wrote for Contessa on the teleprompter: &#8216;Do you think that the RNC goes forward with this ad if there\u2019s been backlash &#8211;&#8216; this is about Massa &#8216;&#8211; do you think the Massa thing will influence negatively Democrats who want to run for reelection?\u2019<\/p>\n<p>WOODHOUSE: I think there will be a backlash, and we will not be shy about reminding people that about 48 to 72 hours ago, Republicans were embracing Eric Massa because they thought that he left &#8212; forced out of Congress because of his opposition to health care and now they want to hang Massa on us. They embraced him, Rush Limbaugh embraced him, it\u2019s going to come back to haunt them. <\/p>\n<p>RUSH: We want to hang Massa on you? He is you. He\u2019s a Democrat. We didn\u2019t embrace the guy. Mr. Woodhouse, you gotta understand how things work here. When it becomes obvious that there\u2019s a raving lunatic in your party we are more than happy to spread the evidence. In this case the evidence was Massa\u2019s own words. So, yeah, Massa said he might reconsider resigning. We\u2019d love to have him in there screwing you guys up and voting &#8216;no\u2019 on this precious little bill of yours. And when he said all he needed was the story to go national, he might reconsider, I said, well, I\u2019ll help out here. So I just played his words. I didn\u2019t embrace this guy.
