RUSH: Jennifer in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. It\u2019s great to have you on the program. Welcome. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Thank you so much for taking my call, Rush. I\u2019m calling because my daughter\u2019s third grade teacher is making them take a four-day, one-hour-each-day ecodrama, which is teaching them to keep their hometown clean and green as part of their science.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Let me make sure I heard you right here. A four-day, one-day ecodrama?<\/line><\/p>\n

CALLER: Four days, one hour each day.<\/p>\n

RUSH: For four days a week?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Force four days total. It was supposed to be last week but it snowed. (laughing)<\/p>\n

RUSH: And the teacher gets a certificate or something? It\u2019s something teacher has to do?<\/p>\n

CALLER: No. She got it approved by the school board. But she\u2019s making the students do it for ‘science.\u2019<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, is the premise here that there\u2019s global warming?<\/p>\n

CALLER: They do not —<\/p>\n

RUSH: There\u2019s really nothing wrong with cleaning up messes, and there\u2019s nothing wrong with being against pollution.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, I\u2019m against pollution.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Nobody wants to purposely pollute. It\u2019s the auspices that come into question. Is this being done ‘to save the planet\u2019?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, one of their have-to-be words is ‘green living.\u2019<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay. Well, that\u2019s not good because what that means is one little sheet of toilet paper.<\/p>\n

CALLER: (giggling) Help us.<\/p>\n

RUSH: All kinds of little weird wacko stuff like that. So how\u2019s your kid dealing with this?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, my husband sent an e-mail to both the principal and the teacher saying we did not want our daughter in this class because we know where it\u2019s going. So the teacher made a point of saying, ‘Well, what am I supposed to do with your daughter?\u2019 and I said, ‘Gladly put her someplace quiet to learn, to do her work.\u2019 But she is saying it\u2019s approved by the school board so therefore it\u2019s part of their science grade.<\/p>\n

RUSH: So she has to attend this stuff?<\/line> <\/line> CALLER: That\u2019s what they\u2019re saying.<\/line> <\/line> RUSH: No! <\/line> <\/line> CALLER: That\u2019s what I\u2019m calling you for.<\/line> <\/line> RUSH: You\u2019re worried the kid\u2019s going to not get a good grade if you pull her out of this.<\/line> <\/line> CALLER: Other we\u2019re still pulling her. We\u2019re still pulling her. <\/line> <\/line> RUSH: (clapping) <\/line> <\/line> CALLER: I\u2019m just asking you for advice —<\/line> <\/line> RUSH: (clapping) <\/line> <\/line> CALLER: — on how to respond to the teacher who is offended by us not wanting her in there<\/line> <\/line>RUSH: It\u2019s very simple. You tell the teacher that it is a hoax, and you tell the teacher that the primary architect of this has admitted that there\u2019s been no global warming — man-made our otherwise — since 1995, that the data was all made up. It\u2019s all over the European press. The State-Controlled Media in the United States will not report this or hasn\u2019t reported it. But you tell the teacher that she\u2019s teaching them a lie. that if she\u2019s teaching global warming, man-made global warming that she is teaching a hoax and you will not put up with it. That\u2019s what I would do. It\u2019s easy for me to say —<\/line> <\/line> CALLER: We don\u2019t have a problem. We\u2019re planning on doing that same thing. I just wanted to make sure that you backed what I said because we\u2019ve done this before. (laughing) Last year they were showing global warming videos in the library and we said, ‘No,\u2019 and the only class that didn\u2019t get to see the second part were my two daughters\u2019 classes.<\/line> <\/line> RUSH: Well, good. I would continue to stand up to them. I\u2019ve heard horror stories. I\u2019ve repeated them. Here in Florida, in high school, the parents were told they had to come watch Algore\u2019s movie with the students or the students might suffer grade punishment. The parents had to come watch it, and it\u2019s a lie. It\u2019s a full-fledged lie. You don\u2019t have teachers anymore. You have propagandists and activists.<\/line> <\/line> CALLER: True.<\/line> <\/line> RUSH: And you have to stand up to them. If you want your kid not to become indoctrinated — if you want your child to actually learn truth and fact — you have to stand up to this kind of stuff. Do you have other options than this school? Is this a public school or private school?<\/line> <\/line> CALLER: It\u2019s a public school but I\u2019m strongly going toward homeschooling this one child \u2019til she\u2019s out of elementary school at least, after this school year. Because of this. My other two children are strong with knowing this but my younger daughter is still kind of young and absorbs everything her teachers tell her.<\/line> <\/line> RUSH: I tell you, this is a revolution I think that\u2019s going to start on this issue and a lot of things. There\u2019s going to be — we\u2019re going to see it in November but there\u2019s going to be an open rebellion against all of this unchecked liberalism — which is not education; it\u2019s indoctrination. It is activism, and more and more parents when they learn the truth of what\u2019s happening and the lies that their kids are being taught under the impression that it\u2019s truth, people aren\u2019t going to put up with it. So I applaud you. If you have the courage to stand up to them I don\u2019t think you can go wrong, but we\u2019re talking about your child\u2019s education here.<\/line> <\/line> CALLER: No, we educate her on this. The school\u2019s not educating.<\/line> <\/line> RUSH: Exactly right. Exactly right. Well, I\u2019m glad you called. Thanks very much.
