RUSH: Algore has a blog, folks. (laughing) You\u2019re not going to believe this. He has made a statement, and it is without any foot in reality. He is using the media, who is using faulty science, to make changes in politics, just as I said. Al\u2019s Journal, a couple days ago: Worse Than We Thought — February 12, 2010: 7:08 PM — More evidence of the climate crisis is unfolding before our eyes. The situation in the Arctic is worse than data from satellite pictures have told us.\u2019 Uh, I\u2019m not going to read this whole thing to you, folks, but it\u2019s hilarious. This guy, when he goes somewhere to make a speech on global warming, he\u2019s snowed out or iced out. Everywhere he goes! So February 12th was Friday. It was on Saturday or Sunday that the UK Daily Mail publishes the interview with Phil Jones, whatever his name is over there at the Hadley unit, who says, yep, it\u2019s all made up. ‘There hasn\u2019t been any warming since 1995.\u2019 <\/p>\n

Two days before that admission here comes Brother Algore saying: ‘Worse Than We Thought.\u2019 (laughing) The country is digging out of… Folks, look. I\u2019ve been teasing you about fleeing the cold weather and I\u2019ve been teasing you complaining that it was so cold it barely hit 70 in the Bahamas. But it barely hit… In fact, two days we were there did not get to 70. It was 73 on Friday night when we got there. It never got to 70 on Saturday or Sunday. It was at 55 at night, in the Bahamas! They are not prepared for it. They don\u2019t have heat in any structure over there. They\u2019re not prepared for it. They couldn\u2019t believe it. ‘This is so unlikely, so unusual. I can\u2019t remember the last time this happened,\u2019 and guess what? They\u2019re only going to reach 70 one day this week, and that day is today. They\u2019re going to be in the fifties. They\u2019re going to be in the fifties all week, just like we are here. <\/p>\n

I mean, normally what happens, you have a cold front that hits the southeast United States, by the time it gets down to the Bahamas (which is due east, practically, of Miami, Nassau is) the warm water temperatures warm the air so that cold fronts generally don\u2019t get down there. So, anyway, it is not a joke. It really is not a joke. I have watched people of all political and apolitical situations grapple (poorly, I might add) with the flood of news and information about the collapse of the great mankind global warming hoax. Folks, I\u2019m dead serious about this. There has been such a massive emotional and intellectual investment in this issue in the man-made global warming fraud that millions if not billions of people here and around the world have bought into it, and they need to be welcomed back to The Universe of Reality from the Universe of Lies. We have to allow them back with their heads held high.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m not talking about the Algores and the Phil Joneses. I\u2019m talking about the average, ordinary duped citizen, bought into this, admitting… Stop and think for a moment how they must feel. I mean, they have been the biggest dupes in modern history — and they now know it, or soon will. They have been played for the biggest suckers to come down the pike in a long time, and they bought it hook, line, and sinker — and admitting having been thoroughly duped is not easy. They may not want to give up their belief. It may be easier emotionally for these people to continue to believe the hoax than it is to come back to The Universe of Reality. It\u2019s a painful thing to admit that you have been made a fool of. It is a painful thing to be reminded how stupid you\u2019ve been. It is a painful thing to realize what a dope and an idiot you\u2019ve been. <\/p>\n

Most people do not want to admit that they have been doped, duped, or are dopes and idiots. This is why I was kind to Perot voters, and welcomed them back with open arms after that election. They eventually saw the light. They hated me when I was telling them what was. They despised me. My broadcast partners at the time worried I was going to lose my audience and thus my show, and they wanted me to come out and support Perot. I said, ‘I can\u2019t do it. It\u2019s a hoax! Perot doesn\u2019t even want to win,\u2019 and there was concern and worry at the highest levels of the EIB Network — except the level occupied by me, which is the highest level. It\u2019s the same thing now, except we have a world of Perot voters: A world of duped, decent, caring, compassionate, only-want-to-do-the-right-thing idiots — uh, people — who have been duped by something that has been presented to them almost as a religion. <\/p>\n

They\u2019ve donated time. They\u2019ve donated money. They have walked, they have marched, they have done car washes for peace, car washes to save the polar bears. They\u2019ve done all of these things that people do emotionally to make themselves feel better. These were the people who were told they were responsible for all of this! It was their advanced lifestyle. It was their automobile, their SUV. It was their use of fossil fuels that was causing the polar bear to lose their habitat and ultimately die, when in fact the population explosion among polar bears is such that people have to go shoot \u2019em now. So these people were blamed, and they sought redemption. They agreed to higher taxes. They agreed to drive around little puddle jumpers and risk them and their families at high speeds on the highways. <\/p>\n

They agreed to roll back their lifestyles, and then some of them became zealots and demanded that everybody else roll back their lives as well. (sigh) They donated money to further the hoax regarding the idea that by simply living our lives, we were destroying the planet. These hysterics and other well-meaning people have angrily ridiculed and lambasted their fellow man who did not fall for the scam. We were called ‘deniers,\u2019 in an effort to tie us to Holocaust deniers. And so now suddenly come to the realization — or at least secret suspect that it was all a lie; for whatever reason, it was a lie? Most people do not want to believe it\u2019s a lie. As a person who studies and is an expert on the subject of human behavior (that\u2019s me) I can confidently report that there\u2019s going to be all kinds of emotional fallout from this orchestrated deceit. You\u2019re going to have people wandering aimlessly out there not knowing now what\u2019s up and what\u2019s down. <\/p>\n

As a person whose career has existed on the cutting edge of societal evolution, I — the all-knowing, all-seeing, all-caring, all-feeling Maha Rushie — am that someone. (That\u2019s the use of the nominative.) I am that someone to once again get out ahead of the curve which is where I live every day. There\u2019s going to be anger, there\u2019s going to be denial, there\u2019s going to be detachment. There will be a whole host of reactions to what is now admitted to be climate fraud. It is clear that science was politicized and has become one of the Four Corners of Deceit. Academia has been politicized for years, as has journalism — and that is now beyond a reasonable doubt. There is a problem, nevertheless, that must be solved. Someone who has total credibility on this issue, someone who has been right from the beginning (that person is I) should and must step forward with a plan to allow otherwise critically thinking human beings with a path back to reality. <\/p>\n

The Universe of Lies is not their real home. There\u2019s a safe way back to The Universe of Reality where we all are. And just as I welcomed Perot voters back to this audience with forgiveness and understanding, so shall we attempt the same thing with these poor people who have been duped for decades now into believing this hoax and furthermore believing they were responsible for it! It has been insidious. Not only was there global warming, it was being caused by people simply trying to live a better life. In other words, progress — progress — was to blame for the destruction of the planet, and most people want to matter. Most people want to be somebody. They want to be able to tell themselves that they are more than just a walking piece of cells soaking up energy. They want to say to themselves that they matter, and so they accepted the hoax that it was their fault, and they embarked on plans to ‘make it right,\u2019 agreeing to elect fraudulent political people (Democrats, mostly) to office in order to take from them the things that caused the destruction of the planet, or were causing it. <\/p>\n

That\u2019s how they sought to matter, and we must welcome them back and reeducate them that progress is good and has not hurt anything. It has only helped. So I\u2019m putting together a peace initiative, the Limbaugh Peace Initiative. It calls for amnesty for warmers. Not amnesty for Algore, not amnesty for the scientists, not amnesty for the politicians, not amnesty for the knowing fraudsters. I\u2019m talking about amnesty for the duped, amnesty for the suckers, amnesty for those who — because they were laden with guilt they did not deserve — bought into this hoax. Now, my peace initiative is not complete here but here is a preview of what I\u2019m thinking, subject to change at all times. I may put together an Amnesty Summit for warmers and invite members of Congress and the president. But they botch everything so badly that I\u2019ll probably just announce the initiative as my own and not gum up the works with a bunch of people who would screw it up anyway. (sigh)<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll announce further details of this amnesty program as the program unfolds in future days and weeks. But some of the things that you can do now: Stop contributing to any group that still participates in the fraud known as man-made global warming. Do not read anything written by any ‘scientist\u2019 who tells you there is man-made. Demand, in writing, that schools cease and desist from advancing the agenda of environmentalist wackos. Get it out of the textbooks. Tell you your kids if any teacher or professor perpetuates this fraud and hoax that there is man-made global warming, that they are not to believe one syllable of it. People\u2019s emotions have been scarred here. The Four Corners of Deceit have been exposed, and people around the world are in denial, and some are in a state of shock. Somebody grounded in reality has to help \u2019em cope and offer \u2019em a path back home, just as we did the Perot voters. That person is I.<\/p>\n

RUSH: RUSH: Look, folks, this is not all bad. I mean a lot of people ought to be happy, like Sheryl Crow. She can start using more than one sheet of toilet paper again. You remember that? A critical, perfect example of a duped person, actually suggested only one sheet of toilet paper to save the planet. Would you want to live with that person? Ha-ha. Not I. Not me. And for those of you who have been duped, look, I\u2019m coming to you with sincerity here. My amnesty program is about helping you cope, offering you a path back home. That\u2019s what this is all about, helping people, really helping people, not Obama helping people, which is screwing them, really helping people, and not for recognition, not for some phony peace prize, but because it\u2019s the right thing to do. And there\u2019s even an upside for the duped. It\u2019s not like the global warming agenda was completely implemented. You found out before we all had to start paying through the nose for it. You didn\u2019t buy a carbon credit, did you? I know I didn\u2019t. Did you fall for that scam? Probably some of you have. But you haven\u2019t been totally duped into changing your lifestyle. It is a godsend what has happened and we\u2019re going to be on the cutting edge. <\/p>\n

RUSH: There are some doubting Thomases out there. A friend of mine sends me this note: ‘ These people, Rush, the duped people, they\u2019re never going to admit that they\u2019re wrong, any more than the left has admitted that communism was wrong. I mean, even after the wall has come down they still won\u2019t admit communism is wrong. They\u2019re still trying to impose it on us.\u2019 Nobody\u2019s ever said that communism is a hoax. I mean, I\u2019ve said it but the communists, leading communists, have never come out and said, ‘Guess what, folks? Communism is a hoax. It\u2019s a false promise. We\u2019ve been making it all up! We\u2019ve been lying about communism.\u2019 Nobody has ever said that, but the global warming architects of deceit are saying now it was a hoax. That\u2019s a big, big difference. There are going to be some stages of grief that these people are going to go through here. It\u2019s going to take a highly trained professional like me to help these people. You\u2019re going to have denial, then you\u2019re going to have anger, and then bargaining, and then depression. If they get past all that, then there will be the acceptance. It\u2019s going to be a long process. I don\u2019t doubt that. I admit I\u2019m taking on a lot here, but it\u2019s worth it, because it\u2019s the right thing to do. <\/p>\n

What a day this is. What a day! <\/p>\n

RUSH: Everybody is weighing in on my peace initiative for the duped on global warming. ‘Oh, come on, Rush. This is a bunch of BS. We don\u2019t need very many of these idiots to admit that they\u2019re idiots. We\u2019re always going to have 20 to 30% of the wacko idiot population of this country never changing its mind on things. The trick is to not let \u2019em run things and that\u2019s what we\u2019ve had for over a year now, the idiots and the wackos running things. All we need is a simple majority of people like in New Jersey, Virginia, and Massachusetts to stop all of this. You\u2019re never going to convert the 20 to 30%. Who the hell wants to waste time on the idiots anyway?\u2019 See, nobody has compassion for these people except I, and I\u2019m not talking about 20 to 30% of the idiots, there are some mainstream people. Folks, you know, when Dawn\u2019s not here we have a roster of substitute transcribers, and one of them came in here just after seeing Algore\u2019s movie and thought, ‘Oh, we\u2019re destroying the planet, oh, we\u2019ve gotta stop.\u2019 <\/p>\n

Well, we finally turned her around. Those are the kind of people I\u2019m talking about. This woman is not a politically active woman at all, but she saw that stupid movie and the phony pictures of little polar bears on these little three square feet sheets of ice thinking it was a melted glacier. Many of these people, many of these duped people are children, ladies and gentlemen. ‘What are we doing to our children?\u2019 What have we done to our children? They have been brainwashed in the schools. Those are the people I\u2019m talking about. Not the 20 to 30% wired wackos whose brains are so screwed up there\u2019s no hope of fixing them. I\u2019m not talking about them. I will not give up this quest. I simply will not. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Somebody has to do it. These people have been duped. If you\u2019re just joining us, folks, the head honcho at this East Anglia University, Phil Jones, has finally admitted that there hasn\u2019t been any warming since 1995, around the world, there has been no global warming, man-made or otherwise. It\u2019s all been a hoax. The hockey stick graph is a hoax. It was warmer in the medieval period when we didn\u2019t have any progress at all than it is today. It\u2019s all a one hundred percent hoax, and we need an amnesty plan for the average people that have been duped into believing this for all of these years. It\u2019s like the Perot voters, you know, they hated my guts, but I welcomed them back with a big heart, open mind, and great compassion, same thing is going to have to happen cause there are billions of these people around the world that have been duped. What do you like about it?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I just wanted to ask you, I think that you need to initiate now a Cash for Carbon Credits program for our disheartened environmentalists.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m not going to try to get the environmentalists. We\u2019re never going to get them. It\u2019s like the communists have never admitted that it\u2019s bad even after the wall went down. But we\u2019re not going to get the 20 to 30% wacko people. Algore is not going to recant. I don\u2019t care about them. I\u2019m worried about the children, the children who believe that polar bears on little three sheet feet of ice is a melting glacier, that they\u2019re all dying, or that driving a car is destroying the planet. These are the people we have to get back.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I agree, and I am thrilled that our children do not need to come home from school any longer in tears.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, it\u2019s not going to happen overnight because these people, the teachers and so forth are not going to give up on this because it\u2019s not about global warming, it\u2019s about advancing socialism or Marxism, whatever you want to call it, it\u2019s about advancing government control over people\u2019s lives, and even though the architects and the head honchos have admitted now it\u2019s a fraud doesn\u2019t mean that teachers are going to give it up because it\u2019s a way to get somewhere that they want. I guarantee you, Obama is still going to push cap and trade, he\u2019s still going to be out there talking about the seas, need to bring down the sea levels. He lives in an alternative universe, a Universe of Lies, so just because these guys have admitted it — it is big because no communist has ever admitted that communism failed. No communist has ever said communism was a hoax, that it never amounted to what its promise was, but this, these head honchos at East Anglia University have done that. So I have high hopes.
