RUSH: Sunday afternoon during the Super Bowl today, the pregame show, and the perky Katie Couric interviewing Obama. She says, ‘Have you ruled out trying the confessed 9\/11 mastermind in New York City?\u2019<\/p>\n

OBAMA: I have not ruled it out but I think it\u2019s important for us to take into account the practical, logistical issues involved. I mean if you\u2019ve got a city that is saying ‘no\u2019 and a police department that\u2019s saying ‘no\u2019 and a mayor that\u2019s saying ‘no\u2019 that makes it difficult. But I — I think that the most important thing for the public to understand is, we\u2019re not handling any of these cases any different than the Bush administration handled them all through 9\/11.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m keeping my mouth closed here, folks. This is bordering on profanity time. The Bush administration wanted military tribunals. It was only because the Bush administration was forced by some courts who took over the commander-in-chief duties, but that\u2019s not even the point. That\u2019s not even the point. I thought Bush was a war criminal. I thought Bush\u2019s policies made us hated and less safe. I thought Bush\u2019s policies added up to recruitment for Al-Qaeda, and yet our president, our young man-child president now says he\u2019s no different than the Bush administration. First off it\u2019s a lie, but wait \u2019til the left gets a hold of this, that he\u2019s no different than Bush, they want Bush frog-marched into a jail. I\u2019m tempted to agree with them here if Obama goes, too. But I don\u2019t want to go that far. No, no. <\/p>\n

Ladies and gentlemen, here\u2019s the best way to explain Obama to you. When he says that he\u2019s now gonna focus on jobs, many times last week, and then on Sunday holds out this proposal for Republicans to come and talk to him at the White House on health care, you might not understand his definition of focus. When he says he\u2019s going to focus on jobs, it doesn\u2019t mean he\u2019s focusing on jobs. It means he\u2019s going to mention it. ‘Focus\u2019 simply means ‘mention\u2019 to Obama, because he\u2019s obviously not focused. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
