We\u2019ll start at audio sound bite number 13, John Kerry, the haughty French-looking man from Massachusetts who also served in Vietnam. Last Wednesday in Washington he was speaking at a 2010 &#8216;clean energy jobs and security forum\u2019 and said this.<\/p>\n<p>KERRY: You know, if the tea party folks would go out there and get angry because they think their taxes are too high, for God\u2019s sake, a lot of citizens ought to get angry about the fact that they\u2019re being killed and our planet\u2019s being injured by what\u2019s happening on a daily basis by the way we provide our power and our fuel and the old practices that we have. That\u2019s something worth getting angry about.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Did you hear that? Were you able to understand what he said? It\u2019s a typical cheap, Democrat microphone in a room that has worse acoustics than the one I\u2019m in. Okay, I\u2019ll tell you what he said. &#8216;You know, if the tea party folks would go out there and get angry because they think their taxes are too high, for God\u2019s sake, a lot of citizens ought to get angry about the fact that they\u2019re being killed and our planet\u2019s being injured by what\u2019s happening on a daily basis by the way we provide our power and our fuel and the old practices that we have. That\u2019s something worth getting angry about.\u2019 So he wants the environmentalist wackos to go get as angry as the tea party people. It\u2019s not anger; it\u2019s passion! The anger they already have. They are angry on general principles. They\u2019re angry \u2019cause they hate being alive! <\/p>\n<p>They are self-loathing people, these leftists. I can\u2019t imagine what it would be like to get up and live their life every day. To have to be mad all the time, at everybody else, knowing full well you are a failure and having the inability to do anything about it because you will not look at yourself. You gotta blame George W. Bush or you gotta blame corporations, or you have to blame somebody. Blame talk radio. My gosh, tea party people are not terrorists. The environmental left, Senator Kerry, has actual terrorism &#8212; and they get prosecuted for it! The Earth Liberation Front. Some guy tried to plant, at an automobile dealership, a bunch of car bombs, or one car bomb, actually a gasoline bomb, and it didn\u2019t go off. It was found and he had put the initials, he\u2019d carved them right above where the thing was to be seen later and it was going to try to blow something up and these people get prosecuted, we had Earth First and all this.<\/p>\n<p>Senator Kerry, what are you talking about? These people are enraged already. It\u2019s that they\u2019re wrong and that the passion that they have is not for anything positive. You can\u2019t compare them to the tea partiers. Here\u2019s Doris Kearns Goodwin, well-known as a plagiarist. But she, despite that, is one of the most respected voices in the Democrat Party and on the left. She is an &#8216;historian.\u2019 She\u2019s married to Richard Goodwin, who is a funny guy. If I were a woman, I wouldn\u2019t want to be married to him, but women look at men differently, I suppose. She is always on TV, and she does speak very well. She\u2019s very articulate, very clean and well spoken, and there\u2019s no Boston dialect when she speaks unless she wants to have it. She\u2019s done bios on a lot of people. She did bios on LBJ and there were rumors about what went on there, how she was able to learn so much. One of her favorite networks is MSNBC. She\u2019s there all the time. She was on with Scarborough, and Scarborough asked her, &#8216;Is the first year of the Obama presidency going to be looked back on by historians as a health care failure?\u2019<\/p>\n<p>GOODWIN: The most important thing historians look at for the first year is: What did it reveal about the temperament of the guy who was there? For example JFK\u2019s first year was a disaster on the surface and yet he had learned so much from that year that when the Cuban Missile Crisis came along he had changed his decision making style. Obama is a man who even though he didn\u2019t have tons of experience before he came in (giggles), he\u2019s had experience this year, and the greatest hope is that he\u2019s learned from that experience. <\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Wait a minute. You know what I love about this, folks, is that all during the campaign, we were told his experience didn\u2019t matter, \u2019cause he was &#8216;clean and articulate\u2019 and &#8216;didn\u2019t have a black dialect except when he wanted to,\u2019 and he was so &#8216;fresh.\u2019 He was unlike anything we had ever had before. Remember that? Post-partisan, post-racial, post-achievement. He was The Messiah! He was The One he had been waiting for. You know, all that rotgut. Now all of a sudden after this first disastrous year when he\u2019s got supermajority in the Senate, a clear majority in the House, and can\u2019t get most of what he wants done, after the first two to three weeks. Now all of a sudden, &#8216;Oh, well, he doesn\u2019t have any experience. Well, maybe he\u2019ll learn from it. I just love these elites and the way that they look at things. Barney Frank, our last sound bite before we go to the phones, this morning on CNBC\u2019s Squawk Box, the cohost Becky Quick was talking to Barney Frank &#8212; and I usually have to translate these, anyway. The question was: &#8216;What is the message coming from the voters of Massachusetts after you lost the Kennedy seat?\u2019<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/01125112.Par.89380.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"350\" height=\"182\" class=\"alignright\"\/>FRANK: People are angry, uhh, that we did a lot (garbled) to start the economy back up, and they haven\u2019t seen the end. I think there was that anger. There was uncertainty and concern about the health care bill. Clearly the fact is that the Obama recovery from the Bush recession has gone much more slowly than we had hoped. And, ahh, at some point people forget that there was a Bush recession and they focus on the slow Obama recovery.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: I don\u2019t think they forget there\u2019s a Bush recession. The frigging president reminds \u2019em 15 times a day. All told, it\u2019s probably 30 times a day given how many times you people in Congress talk about &#8216;the Bush recession.\u2019 Hell, it\u2019s now being called &#8216;the lost decade,\u2019 which in truth refers to the Japan economy of the eighties, but it\u2019s the lost decade. Maybe it was the Japan economy of the nineties. Whichever. However, ladies and gentlemen, Barney\u2019s got it all wrong. He\u2019s a smart guy. He\u2019s not dumb, but to blame Bush? To blame Bush and the anger at Bush for explaining why a majority of Democrats in the state elected a Republican?
