Great to have you. Hi.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Hi. How are you doing? My name is Mike. I\u2019m a contractor from Caseville. I\u2019m just really worried about this election. We got these two candidates, and, you know, just because Trump has GOP next to his name, I\u2019m very conservative, but why should I settle for him? I mean, we got the Libertarians hitting 11%, they\u2019re way closer to my values.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Yeah?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Why should we settle for Trump when we don\u2019t have to? The older generation could mess this up by allowing this, by selecting the lesser of two evils. Keep telling me, well, that Hillary\u2019s gonna win, Hillary\u2019s gonna win.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Yeah, see, that\u2019s the thing, though, Michael. For the last &#8212; I don\u2019t know &#8212; for the last however many presidential elections, the GOP establishment has told us, when we\u2019ve been upset with the nominee, screw that, you have a duty to hold your nose and support our nominee. You have a duty to unify. You have a duty to put all that aside and come together, and now that the shoe\u2019s on the other foot, they have no interest in doing the same thing. So I don\u2019t disagree with you that there\u2019s been this counterbalance, but you know the old saw about third parties. They\u2019re not gonna win anything. When was the last one that was victorious?<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/Libertarian_Party.svg_large.png\" align=\"right\" \/><br \/>\nCALLER: The point is we need to fire these people. We need to get \u2019em out of there. I mean, look at the all the &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: How are you gonna do that losing an election?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: &#8212; on both sides. (crosstalk)<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: How are you gonna do it losing an election?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: You you gotta make strides. I mean, little by little you gotta make strides. You gotta do it somehow.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Let me tell you something.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Trump got in when nobody else said he could.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: I have &#8212; (crosstalk)<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Why can\u2019t we get a nominee in there that that holds our values?<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, where is he?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Well, like I said, the Libertarians have enough support where I think they will actually make the debates this time. And I think we need to go that way.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: There isn\u2019t gonna be a Libertarian candidate that is on the ballots that is &#8212; (crosstalk)<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Holding 11% national support.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Who?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Gary Johnson.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Oh, Gary, oh, Gary Johnson. How did I fail to comprehend where you were going, my bad. Gary Johnson. Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Well, he doesn\u2019t hold every single value I have, but at least he\u2019s not flip-flopping going after Bernie\u2019s supporters. I mean, that\u2019s where Trump\u2019s going. You know? I mean, he\u2019s just everywhere.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well &#8212;<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/Gary-Johnson-rEALLY.jpg\" align=\"middle\" \/><br \/>\nCALLER: He doesn\u2019t care about grabbing the conservative vote. He\u2019s made that clear. You know, I was firmly, firmly with Cruz. I would have gone Cruz all the way.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Right.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: But this guy, I cannot be accountable for this. Guys guys like you, I can\u2019t tell you how I think you guys are the backbone of America, you\u2019ve just been forgotten and all that. But third party, you\u2019re not gonna win anything.
