FRANK: We have a serious constitutional problem. It is time to shut it down. It is anti-Democratic. I think we should now be crusading, maybe some Republicans will join us, to amend the rules of the Senate. God didn\u2019t create the filibuster. It\u2019s part of the Senate rules.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, now we gotta get rid of the filibuster rule in the Senate. We gotta get rid of 60 votes. Oh, it\u2019s just so damning for the Republicans and the Democrats. The Democrats can\u2019t get anything done. They need 60 votes. And I guarantee if the Republicans ever take back the Senate, if we ever did get rid of 60, they\u2019d change the rule right back to 60. They change the rules in the middle of the game to benefit themselves.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
