<\/p>\nRUSH: We have the audio from the president\u2019s meeting with COVID-19 survivors, people who\u2019ve recovered from it, about an hour ago in the White House. And it\u2019s typical Trump. He\u2019s just sitting there, looks like in the cabinet room, gigantic cabinet table, and he\u2019s just riffing with these people, like they\u2019re old friends. And he has that ability.<\/p>\n

You meet Donald Trump for the first time and he has the ability to make you think you\u2019ve known him, and that he\u2019s known you, for years. He\u2019s talking football with one guy named Mark Campbell. Mark Campbell used to play in the NFL. He\u2019s talking Tom Brady and football with this guy like they\u2019re sitting in a bar having a beer.<\/p>\n
And the point is all these people were suffering from COVID-19 until they took hydroxychloroquine, and they were better. Some immediately, some in 12 hours. The point is they\u2019re all thanking Trump for making it possible, \u2019cause he has been single-handedly pushing it.<\/p>\n
And, of course, since Trump is for it, the establishment has to come out against it, including the Democrats in the pressroom. Some in the medical health community had to come out against it. When Trump is for it, it\u2019s automatic. They have to come out against it, despite all the anecdotal stories — and this is what Trump is trying to do. The drug works on a lot of people.<\/p>\n
By the way, there\u2019s a story out there today, Rita Wilson, Tom Hanks\u2019 wife, you know, they got COVID-19 while they were in Australia. And she\u2019s saying, yeah, I took chloroquine, and it was horrible. I had side effects. It was bad.<\/p>\n
She didn\u2019t take hydroxychloroquine. They\u2019re two different things, and the best results are hydroxychloroquine with azithromycin, the Z-Pak. Here\u2019s sound bite number 1 of Trump talking to these people.<\/p>\n
THE PRESIDENT: This is a group of people who, in many cases, became quite famous because they went through a lot having to do with the coronavirus, a tremendous amount, and a lot of them recovered, and we know \u2019em from the media, they\u2019ve all got very interesting and very different stories to tell, and I thought what I\u2019d do is I\u2019d go around the room, it\u2019s an honor to have them at the White House, and they really are, they\u2019re very brave.<\/p>\n
RUSH: And one of them was Karen Whitsett. She is an African-American Democrat, state representative from Michigan. She\u2019s the one crediting Trump and hydroxychloroquine for her recovery. She\u2019s sitting in the cabinet room, and here is that sound bite.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, you can say that this is propaganda, but this actually happened. Trump is single-handedly, from the highest levels, pushing hydroxychloroquine. This woman found it, was able to get a prescription, and it saved her, and she just wanted to say thank you. And it\u2019s a home run event. These are the kinds of things Trump has to do, folks, to counter these attempted narratives that are out there against him each and every day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
