CALLER: Mr. Limbaugh. Hello.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Hi.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hi. I kind of wanted to say, you know, I hope the Raiders win over the Steelers, it would be great, if the Steelers did go home after the first half, that would be tremendous for us. <\/p>\n

RUSH: You a Raiders fan? <\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, unfortunately.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, man.<\/p>\n

CALLER: It\u2019s not easy, but I am a loyal Raiders fan. Pardon me. I also just wanted to say real quick, if you just give me one second, what a tremendous thing it has been for me and my growth into manhood to have you as a teacher and an example, and I wanted to tell you that I really appreciate you and everything that you do, because there was a time in my life when I didn\u2019t know exactly what direction was best, and I started listening to you and it put everything into the right perspective for me and it helped me to attain moral clarity.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s all well and good.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I just wanted to thank you so very much.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I appreciate that, I really do, that\u2019s all well and good, but I wouldn\u2019t call myself a total success.<\/p>\n

CALLER: No?<\/p>\n

RUSH: I mean, you\u2019re still a Raiders fan. (laughing)<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, you know, I\u2019m not perfect. I\u2019m striving.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s what Tiger is saying, he\u2019s not perfect. Look, let me give you some hope here. If the Pittsburgh Steelers can lose to the Kansas City Chiefs, they can lose to the Oakland Raiders.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I feel slightly better.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I don\u2019t think it\u2019s going to happen. They\u2019re going to get Roethlisberger back, and the coach, Mike Tomlin, said after the game, after they lost to Baltimore late Sunday night, said, ‘We are going to unleash hell in December.\u2019 That\u2019s from the movie Gladiator, which is one of his favorite movies, watched it the night before the game. It\u2019s unlikely that they\u2019re going to lose to the Raiders, but if they lose to the Chiefs, I mean the Raiders would beat the Chiefs.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, that was a fluke, though.<\/p>\n
