Orrin Hatch,respected member of the Senate Judiciary Committee,raises a profound point. You see, he\u2019s concerned that the Democrats\u2019 so-called health care reform would be “the first time where our government would demand that people buy something that they may or may not want.” Hatch says, “That isn\u2019t America. That\u2019s not freedom. That\u2019s not Constitutionally sound.” That\u2019s right:Democrat health care could well be unconstitutional.<\/p>\n

A state-controlled reporter actually asked Robert Gibbs of the White House: “Have White House lawyers looked at this issue? Has this been examined in any way?” Gibbs said: “Not that I know of [because I don\u2019t know anything].” The reporter followed up: “Do you not feel there is any concern at all about whether it is Constitutional for Congress to impose a mandate?” Gibbs\u2019s response: “No.” Gibbs said the Obama administration is not seriously considering the concerns of people like Senator Hatch.<\/p>\n

So… Democrats raise hell, callingBush\u2019s spying on terrorists unconstitutional. Democrats raise hell, awarding Constitutional rights to terrorists at Club Gitmo. Democrats cite the Constitutionto justify unlimited abortion rights,and to bar any mention of God in the public square. Yet, as they try to take over one-sixth of the economy, Obama and Democrats dismiss the Constitutional concerns of a sitting senator– and of the American people.<\/p>\n

Now, I\u2019ve told you this bunch views our Constitution as an obstacle; here\u2019s your proof. But in 2010 and 2012, it\u2019s your turnto make these radicals pay attention to our Constitution– and to you — and pay the price for their arrogance. <\/p>\n
