RUSH: Here\u2019s Matt in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Welcome, sir. Great to have on you the EIB Network.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hey, Rush. Greetings from a fellow radio broadcaster.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you, sir.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I was reading the story on Politico, and it just blew my mind. And you talked about this so many times about — you predicted there wouldn\u2019t be a postracial society after Obama. And so the headline is: ‘Racial disparity: All active ethics probes focus on black lawmakers.\u2019 And so basically what the Congressional Black Caucus is saying is that there\u2019s this big conspiracy to only target black members of Congress for these ethics investigations. And I\u2019m like, wait a minute, ‘Aren\u2019t they the ones committing these violations? Shouldn\u2019t they be investigated?\u2019 It\u2019s like, do we have racial quotas now for ethics violations?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, we do. You have to understand these people are a perpetual minority, and as Dr. Hutcherson wrote in his hot column about me, this is a perfect illustration of the minority thought pattern which is the white guy has made me a perpetual victim, and Dr. Hutcherson developed that theory and he\u2019s black, he\u2019s African-American, and it perfectly fits what\u2019s happening here. Let me give you the details of the story, hang on here, Matt.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: ‘The House ethics committee is currently investigating seven African-American lawmakers — more than 15 percent of the total in the House. And an eighth black member, Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-Ill.), would be under investigation if the Justice Department hadn\u2019t asked the committee to stand down. Not a single white lawmaker is currently the subject of a full-scale ethics committee probe. … ‘Is there concern whether someone is trying to set up [Congressional Black Caucus] members? Yeah, there is,\u2019 a black House Democrat said. ‘It looks as if there is somebody out there who understands what the rules [are] and sends names to the ethics committee with the goal of going after the [CBC].” Now, who would be doing this? Can the Republicans start any kind of — isn\u2019t this Democrats doing this?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I mean they control the committees.<\/p>\n

RUSH: They control committees. The ethics committee supposedly is independent, but I would love, you know, since I run the Republican Party, I would love to say, ‘Hey, gang, I\u2019m doing this, I\u2019m behind this \u2019cause I\u2019m trying to show the NFL how fair I can be.\u2019 But I really can\u2019t make that claim. But it is interesting that the only people being investigated are African-American when I know full well you can throw Barney Frank in there, I mean all kinds of people could be investigated. John Murtha with his airport thing there in his district in Pennsylvania. So anyway, what was the point you wanted to make about it?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I just, you know, you\u2019ve made the point so many times that we weren\u2019t going to be headed for a postracial America after Obama, and this struck me, it\u2019s like they perpetually think that somebody is after them, and I\u2019m sitting here thinking, they\u2019re the ones in control right now. They still act like the Republicans are in control. They want to blame Republicans and conservatives for everything.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s the minority thought pattern. You have perpetual victimhood status, perpetual minority status. Because you see, having that attitude allows you to be racist without being racist, because it is said you don\u2019t have the power to implement or act out your racism, so you really aren\u2019t racist. That\u2019s one of the brilliant theories of the Reverend Jackson. But you\u2019re right, the big deal is here, wait a minute, we\u2019re entitled to these ethics violations. We\u2019re a minority. We\u2019re entitled to these. We\u2019re just trying to get what\u2019s rightfully ours, it was denied us for so many years and so long, we\u2019re entitled to this. And why are they only looking at us? If I were these guys in the Black Caucus upset about this, you know they\u2019ve got the goods on some other guys, I mean let\u2019s start naming names here. Let\u2019s get the circular firing squad going. That\u2019s what I want to see.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
