How you doing there, Rush? When this stuff is going up in Washington&amp;hellip; I have private health care, how is that going to affect me?<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Private health care. Well, to be honest with you, you\u2019re going to lose it in a matter of years. It won\u2019t be immediate. How &#8212; do you mind telling me how old you are, Karen?<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: I\u2019m 50.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Fifty? Not good. I\u2019m 58, and it ain\u2019t good for you and I.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: That\u2019s right.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Because what\u2019s going to happen here is they\u2019re going to get this done &#8212; if they get it done &#8212; it will not be implemented until 2013 so that Obama will not face a revolt in the 2012 elections. And then when it gets implemented in 2013, you\u2019ll still have your private insurance. It\u2019s going to take a number of years to force the insurance companies out of business and to force people onto the public option. They\u2019re not going to be able to wave a magic wand and have this done overnight, but it will happen. And let\u2019s say it happens &#8212; Well, Obama\u2019s target year, he said it might take 10 to 15 years to totally wipe out private were insurance. Now, they\u2019re going to try to do it soon than that, and they might succeed, but 10 to 15 years makes you 65, and &#8216;Hello, death panels.\u2019<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: I hear you. Can I ask you one more question?<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Yeah.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: On those Sleep Number Beds, are they &#8212; because I have a bad back &#8212; I\u2019m thinking about getting one, do they really work for backs?<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: No, I just make it all up. (laughs) Please! Of course they work! Let me tell you something. I got an e-mail from a guy &#8212; what was he, a truck driver or something? &#8212; bad back, and I read it on the air last week, and he had tried all kinds of medication, all kinds of everything, he went out and bought a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.selectcomfort.com\/\">Sleep Number Bed<\/a>, and he doesn\u2019t have the back pain anymore.<\/line><\/p>\n<p><BR\/>CALLER: Wow, that\u2019s amazing. I\u2019ll be getting, like, $2,400 from my boyfriend this year for Christmas. I figured I\u2019d go buy one of those.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: How do you know that your boyfriend is going to give you $2,400?<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Because every year we\u2019re together I get $200, and we\u2019ve been together 12 years. It increases. He started it 12 years ago.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Hmm. Now, this is interesting.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Nice guy, huh?<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>SEBELIUS: When did you guys strike this deal?<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: He struck it one &#8212; Christmas Eve. The first Christmas Eve we were together.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: So he came up with the plan, $200 a year for every year you\u2019re together?<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Uh-huh.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: And that was incentive enough to get you to hang in there?<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Oh, heck, yeah! He\u2019s one hell of a guy.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Two hundred bucks. What does he get after 12 years of bliss?<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: All of me.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: You? <\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Hm-hm.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: All of you?<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Hm-hm. I know what Dr. Laura says, I know how to treat a man.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: I know what Dr. Laura&amp;hellip; Oh. All right.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Got you stumped, huh?<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: (laughing) &#8216;Treat a man.\u2019 (laughing) So you\u2019re, in effect, going to be paid $2,400 this Christmas &#8212;<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Not paid. Just &#8212; because he doesn\u2019t give me flowers or cards or anything during the year, so this is my, you know, reward for what I do for him.
