RUSH: Now we\u2019ve got kids singing songs to Obama, not in schools, but on CNN. I made a mistake earlier. I said that this happened on Wednesday. It actually happened on Monday. It just took two days for the world to learn of it because it happened on CNN. Greetings, folks, great to have you back, Rush Limbaugh, serving humanity simply by being here. They\u2019re killing themselves there. At least it\u2019s safer on CNN while they sing songs. How did all of this get started? Let\u2019s go back to this elementary school in New Jersey. Remember this. <\/line><\/p>\n

SCHOOLKIDS: He said that all must lend a hand to make this country strong again. Mmm, mmm, mmm, Barack Hussein Obama. He said we must be fair today, equal work means equal pay. Mmm, mmm, mmm, Barack Hussein Obama. He said we all must take a stand, to make sure everyone gets a chance. Mmm, mmm, mmm, Barack Hussein Obama. RUSH: Barack Hussein Obama, mmm, mmm, mmm. This takes us to the next element, which is, of course, the kids from the Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta on CNN on Monday with Wolf Blitzer. By the way, not every kid agrees with Obamacare that was forced to sing this song. We have an interesting sound bite about that. But most of these kids are just mind-numbed. This is from the famous private Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta, so famous that the teacher who founded it got a movie made about him, The Ron Clark Story starring Matthew Perry. It\u2019s a school that prides itself on outside-the-box thinking, on innovation. But the student video on CNN is just as much mind-numbed robotics as all the public school videos that we\u2019ve seen. Listen to this. <\/p>\n

KIDS: Obama says everyone needs health coverage in America now. We need to insure those 47 million but the government doesn\u2019t know how. Deductibles getting higher every day. I got my bill and I\u2019m thinking no way! And what about my brother? He\u2019s hurt and he can\u2019t get covered. My tummy\u2019s turning and I\u2019m feeling kinda worried. Capricious coverage is killing me. That\u2019s when a doctor said, ‘You have to go.\u2019 Bipartisan support was tried, so we wouldn\u2019t be denied. But Joe Wilson yelled, ‘You Lie!\u2019 So we throw our hands up for health care reform. Make your choice today. Private and public care, will a marketplace treat us fair? So we throw our hands up for health care reform. Make your choice today. Yeah, Yeah, Yeah. It\u2019s a problem in the USA.<\/p>\n

RUSH: This is one of the more troubling videos that I have seen. This is a school renowned for its out of the box thinking and for its innovation, and we\u2019ve got a bunch of kids who have just been mind-numbed and propagandized, and to make it worse they\u2019re brought in to perform on a news network, CNN, where Wolf Blitzer just going, ‘Oh, this is so wonderful, what great work Ron Clark\u2019s doing down there at his school.\u2019 I\u2019m sure they did perform during the presidential campaign. These kids, if you see the video, they look damn healthy with the current system. They don\u2019t look like they\u2019re getting shorted on any health care and they don\u2019t look like they\u2019re very hungry either. It looks like their lives are pretty damn good and if they\u2019re singing here about long lines and so forth they haven\u2019t seen long lines until Obama gets his health care bill. Now, not all of these children are on board. Willie Thornton, this is last Monday, the anchor Kyra Phillips spoke with students about the health care reform. Two students talk about the need for health care reform. Phillips says, ‘What do you think, Willie Thornton? How did they do?\u2019<\/p>\n

THORNTON: I feel personally that we should stay with our current health care system, which is a private plan, because if we did go to the Obama administration\u2019s private and public plan, then not only would the people who are wealthy, they would not only have to pay for their insurance plan, but they\u2019d also have to pay for someone else\u2019s insurance, and then that\u2019s just making them have to spend more money and lay off more people and therefore reducing our economy right now. We\u2019re in a deep recession.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Somebody is teaching somebody the right stuff, I don\u2019t know if this person learned what he knew in school or learned it at home, but this kid was forced to sing in this song. This is one of the singers that you heard. Now, you might remember Monday on Scarborough\u2019s show on PMSNBC, he had on Katty Kay. If somebody named me Katty Kay and I ended up as a journalist I\u2019d change the first name. But that\u2019s just me. Katty Kay had not heard the video from the New Jersey school with the ‘Barack Hussein Obama, mmm, mmm, mmm.\u2019 And of course I mimicked it all day Friday when Obama bombed out in Copenhagen at the Olympics. And the NBC people didn\u2019t like this. Well, the Chris Matthews people didn\u2019t like it and they played video of me doing the Barack Hussein Obama, mmm, mmm, mmm. And they were just disgusted as they could be, ‘How could Limbaugh be so gleeful that Obama failed, and what is this, mmm, mmm, mmm, business?\u2019 And Katty Kay said, (paraphrasing) ‘I don\u2019t want to hear it again, Chris, Limbaugh is insidious.\u2019 <\/p>\n

There are two different media worlds. I know everything they do. I watch \u2019em, I read \u2019em, I listen to them; they don\u2019t. They read Media Matters or whatever far left-wing nut job website to find out what happened here but they don\u2019t listen and they don\u2019t read. They are living in their own cone of silence, in a cocoon. I, as a highly trained broadcast specialist, I watch \u2019em to find out what they\u2019re doing. They haven\u2019t the slightest idea and they are so uninformed. So it gave me this idea, dedicated to Katty Kay, BBC America. <\/p>\n

SCHOOLKIDS PARODY: Rush Hudson Limbaugh. Mmm, mmm, mmm. Rush Hudson Limbaugh. Mmm, mmm, mmm. (Battle Hymn of the Republic tune) My ears have heard Rush Limbaugh on my parents\u2019 radio. RUSH: I wonder, folks, I really wonder if CNN fact-checked the kids song from the Ron Clark Academy that aired on CNN Monday, \u2019cause, you know, they fact-checked a Saturday Night Live skit? They fact-checked a joke. Did they fact-check the kids? No way. <\/p>\n

RUSH: I also need to make a minor correction. This correction, by the way, will not impact my opinion audit accuracy, because this is a factual error I made. I mistakenly put Katty Kay on Chris Matthews\u2019 weekend show. It was actually Monday morning on Scarborough\u2019s show on PMSNBC Scarborough doing his best impression of a neutered chickified moderate. ‘Ah, this can\u2019t be helpful for our political process for Limbaugh to be laughing with glee that Obama failed in Copenhagen.\u2019 I guess Joe wants to sell another couple of books to go with the 1,000 he already sold by pitching it to Democrats and moderates. Katty Kay said this. <\/p>\n

KAY: I don\u2019t think it is. After, you know, listening to that Rush Limbaugh clip again — and I don\u2019t think I want to hear it, really, for a fourth or fifth time — is that it\u2019s not Barack Obama, it\u2019s ‘Barack Hussein Obama, Barack Hussein Obama.\u2019 There\u2019s something insidious going on there, too, in the repetition of his middle name.<\/p>\n
