RUSH: Hey, now, look, I know you guys don\u2019t like hearing me talk about the Democrats because you can get that anywhere, but you\u2019re gonna have to bear with me today. I cannot avoid — this is too juicy, it\u2019s too good, it\u2019s too much fun, I\u2019ve been looking too much forward to it. So we\u2019re gonna talk about the Democrats today because the subject matter of the Democrats boils down to the fact that they\u2019re lost. And they know it.<\/p>\n

The bottom line is they know it. They don\u2019t have a candidate that can beat Trump and to watch the pretense in the Drive-By Media as though these people are serious — well, they are seriously contending, given their hopes and dreams, but the reality is that this is just — and I\u2019m not trying to jinx anything, and I\u2019m not trying to be falsely positive with things, but it\u2019s juicy, folks.<\/p>\n

So last Friday I was here and I had the hacking cough. I sometimes missed the cough button, I\u2019d aim for it and miss it, you\u2019d hear the cough. I said, \u201cAw, geez, people are gonna get concerned.\u201d I said, \u201cIt\u2019s just a cold.\u201d And it\u2019s like every other cold I\u2019ve ever had. I get \u2018em once every three years or so, you can feel it coming on. I knew it. It was getting worse during the program. But I hung in there.<\/p>\n

I got home and Kathryn had the medical team \u2013 \u201cOh, no.\u201d I know what this meant. And so the medical team, \u201cYeah, we really need to put you in the hospital.\u201d \u201cNo! No! If you put me in the hospital, I\u2019m never gonna get out of there.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou gotta go to the hospital.\u201d So we went to the hospital. And it was a good thing \u2019cause it turned out to be flu. And I don\u2019t even remember Saturday. I think I was just zonked, and then Sunday got out of there and then back here and roaring and ready to go. Unrelated to anything else going on. I still have some remnants of it, and you may — I don\u2019t know. I may still sound a bit stuffed up. But, I mean, I feel a hundred percent better than I did here on Friday.<\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay, folks, some I guess housekeeping stuff just to keep you up to speed. I will be here tomorrow and then off Thursday and Friday. Remember that I said when I announced this cancer diagnosis that I\u2019m gonna be here as often as I can other than the days that I have to be away for treatment and if there\u2019s any side effect or reaction to it. I have no idea yet. That is the next phase, and that\u2019s what\u2019s gonna be happening Thursday and Friday if I pass a couple of other tests. And we want to get going on that, obviously, as quickly as possible.<\/p>\n

So, the thing to know is that I\u2019m gonna do everything I can to be here as often as I can while not causing any setbacks. And right now I don\u2019t know what kind of side effects there are gonna be. Everybody\u2019s different with the way they react to these things. I\u2019ve been an ox my whole life. I don\u2019t react to things like most people do. And I have survived numerous attempts to inflict harm on myself with no pain whatsoever.<\/p>\n

Excuse me. Remnants of the flu here. So, my attitude on this remains upbeat and positive. And, as I know as much in advance when I\u2019m gonna be here or not, I\u2019ll let you know. So Thursday and Friday I\u2019ll be away and gone. But even on those days I\u2019m gonna try to find a way to stay connected as best I can.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
