RUSH: Politico says Democrats are \u201cbracing themselves.\u201d They\u2019re afraid that after President Trump loses in November, he will \u201cbungle a smooth handover of power.\u201d He could \u201csabotage the transition\u201d or he might not even accept the election results and agree to leave.<\/p>\n

\"\"Fauxcahontas Warren says it won\u2019t be an ordinary transition because she won\u2019t be able to assume good faith cooperation from Trump. A senior Obama official predicts this will be the \u201cmost hostile, least professional transition\u201d in our history. Instead of hitting the ground running, the new Democrat President will be \u201cunearthing buried bodies.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Democrats worry that Trump\u2019s people will not meet with the incoming team, and that any paper trails left behind won\u2019t be \u201ctrustworthy.\u201d Some fear that Trump will \u201cquietly push through last-minute initiatives\u201d to stymie the next administration\u2019s ability to tackle issues like immigration.<\/p>\n

Most concerned, reports Politico, are Democrats who deal with national security. They\u2019re worried Trumpsters will lay booby-traps for them and try to hamstring their foreign policy goals, perhaps even with Iran.<\/p>\n

As amusing as this is, let me reassure you worried Democrats. Especially you, Fauxcahontas. You\u2019re not going to win. There won\u2019t be a \u201ctransition\u201d to a Democrat president in 2020. So rest easy. Your agenda for the next four years is set: to continue to be consumed with hate for Donald Trump!
