{"id":333210,"date":"2020-01-10T18:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-01-10T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/admin.rushlimbaugh.com\/?p=333210"},"modified":"2020-01-20T09:00:16","modified_gmt":"2020-01-20T14:00:16","slug":"rush-24-7-morning-update-345","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/admin.rushlimbaugh.com\/daily\/2020\/01\/10\/rush-24-7-morning-update-345\/","title":{"rendered":"Rush 24\/7 Morning Update: Seeing Is Believing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>RUSH: The Hill.com just ran an article titled \u201cWhy We Need a \u2018Deep State.\u2019\u201d It\u2019s by Steven Cash, former CIA operations officer and former staff counsel for Senator Dianne Feinstein.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Cash admits that, yeah, there is a Deep State operating in the intelligence community and every other government agency. He says a better name would be the \u201cSteady State,\u201d because the men and women who are in it have chosen government as a career. He says they carry out every president\u2019s policies, even ones they don\u2019t like. They don\u2019t subvert. They enhance. They are competent.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-332906\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/2020-APP-Morning-Update.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/2020-APP-Morning-Update.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/2020-APP-Morning-Update-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/>And they don\u2019t deserve the vicious attacks from the Trump Administration and members of Congress, he says. Presidents come and go, but the Deep State is made up of patriots who keep this big government running smoothly. And that\u2019s what we should believe.<\/p>\n<p>Well, maybe we would believe it if we didn\u2019t have eyes, and if we didn\u2019t have the Steele Dossier, if we didn\u2019t have the texts of FBI agents, if we didn\u2019t have the phony Russia Collusion hoax, if we didn\u2019t have the phony impeachment hoax, and Democrat Party fingerprints all over the ongoing attempt to overturn the 2016 election.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe we could believe this sanitized version of the Deep State if the liberals working in government didn\u2019t proudly announce that they are \u201cthe resistance,\u201d intent on subverting Trump.<\/p>\n<p>Yeah, we\u2019ve seen the Deep State in action for three years now. Actually, longer than that. And I\u2019m gonna tell you, seeing is believing.
