RUSH: We go to Atlanta, Indiana, and this is Elizabeth. Elizabeth, I\u2019m glad you waited. Welcome to the program.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Whooo-hoo! I can\u2019t believe we\u2019re talking to you! Hi, Rush. How are you?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Fine and dandy. Thanks much.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I wanted to tell you what Obamacare would be like. I\u2019ve got an HMO and my daughter\u2019s got a special medical condition, she needed to see a specialist, my insurance company denied her. I have an HMO so we went through a grievance process. The panel was composed of three people who had never even heard of what my daughter had. They denied her and then we went on to a second level of grievance, they denied her again, and then a third level. So at this point we decided, let\u2019s go to the Indiana Department of Insurance. I was so thankful that they were there. They were independent, they weren\u2019t being paid off by the insurance company, and they were for oversight. In Obamacare, there would be nowhere to go, there would be no oversight. My other point was in the process of going through this panel they asked me questions that were totally irrelevant to my daughter\u2019s medical condition, like, did she go to school, where did she school, why did I make that choice, you know, things that have nothing to do with her medical condition —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, what was the purpose of that?<\/p>\n

CALLER: There were a lot of those questions, and I kept thinking to myself, jeez, these are questions that my HMO is asking me, and I\u2019m answering them because I\u2019m desperate, I want those medical bills paid, but can you imagine the questions Obamacare panels would have? That\u2019s my point. And also, my 16-year-old loves you. She schedules her homeschooling schedule as much as possible around you. Could you just say hi?<\/p>\n

<\/a>RUSH: That warms my heart. What\u2019s her name?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Alyssa. Hold on a second.<\/p>\n

DAUGHTER: I am such a big fan of you! I listen to you, and so Obama and his friends can get really, really mad, even if I can\u2019t listen to you, I still leave my radio on so I can waste energy so Obama will get really mad!<\/p>\n

CALLER: She\u2019s so excited.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s all right. I didn\u2019t have a chance to say anything to her, she didn\u2019t take a breath.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I don\u2019t think she did. We\u2019ve been waiting for two hours and 11 minutes, and she is so excited to talk to you. (Daughter screaming ‘I love you!\u2019 in background). Anyway —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, now, wait, what is her name, again?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Alyssa. You told her to read Mark Levin. She has a reading issue and you told her to read Mark Levin so she found it on tape and she\u2019s trying to educate herself as best she can in conservatism so that she can be able to, you know, have discussions with liberals, and she\u2019s —<\/p>\n

RUSH: See, this is the kind of stuff that gives me hope for the future.<\/p>\n

CALLER: It is hope. It is absolute hope. Anyway, thank you for what you\u2019re doing. I don\u2019t know where we would be without you.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, thank you very much. <\/p>\n

DAUGHTER: Bye!<\/p>\n
