RUSH: Cory Booker is out there campaigning as the last black man standing in the Democrat primaries. “Our party is better than this.” Who\u2019s to blame for the fact that you\u2019re the last African-American in the race? It\u2019s your voters, dude. It isn\u2019t America. It\u2019s your voters. Deal with it.<\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: Cory Booker\u2019s out there, he\u2019s in Des Moines, he\u2019s in Iowa, out there running for president on the Democrat side. As you know, Kamala Harris — grab the violins — is gone. The Russian agent, Tulsi Gabbard, succeeded in taking Kamala Harris out<\/a>. Not even an affair with Willie Brown could save her. So she\u2019s gone.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Then we got the stories about how mean she was, mean to her staff. This shouldn\u2019t surprise anybody, either. We always hear about how rude and mean and insensitive these powerful Democrats are to the people that work for them. My dad always said, the way to find out somebody\u2019s real character is to watch how they treat people who can\u2019t do anything for \u2019em. Well, the Democrats even treat people who can do things for \u2019em like dirt.<\/p>\n

So she\u2019s gone. And so now Cory Booker is whining that the Democrat primary is losing people of color. He said, \u201cOur party\u2019s better than this.\u201d I\u2019m sorry. It cracks me up. Why is your party losing people of color? ‘Cause your party\u2019s a bunch of racists. Your voters obviously don\u2019t care about supporting the minorities. You\u2019re barely hanging on yourself, Booker. You\u2019re gonna be the next one to go.<\/p>\n

And then all that\u2019s gonna be left is a bunch of short, little billionaires in that party, plus Mayor Pete. Who\u2019s also short and little but not a billionaire. That\u2019s all you\u2019re gonna have left. Oh, I\u2019m sorry. Plugs is not a billionaire, but he\u2019s got blond hair on his legs that black people like. That\u2019s as close as you\u2019re gonna be able to get.<\/p>\n

And whose fault is this, Cory? \u201cOur party\u2019s better than this.\u201d You can\u2019t blame us for this. But they\u2019ll find a way. But now they\u2019re even focusing on Tulsi Gabbard, the Russian agent who took out Kamala Harris. Here\u2019s Booker, a little sound bite from today in Des Moines at a campaign event.<\/p>\n

BOOKER: It is a problem that we now have an overall campaign for the 2020 presidency that has more billionaires in it than black people. I\u2019ve seen folk here in Iowa belie what all the predictions are. It was this state that set a trajectory for the first black man in American history to become the president. (applause).<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, but that was then, and this is now. And obviously that\u2019s not seen as having done so well, Cory, for whatever reason. \u201cIt\u2019s a problem that we now have an overall campaign for the presidency has more billionaires in it than black people.\u201d Well, what are you gonna do about it? And whose fault is it? Does this represent a failure of the civil rights initiatives within the Democrat Party?<\/p>\n

Booker, what are these billionaires that want to be president supposed to do? Are they supposed to look at now the lack of diversity and quit? Is Bloomberg and some of these others supposed to call a press conference and said, \u201cYou know what? There are not enough black people in this primary. I\u2019m quitting to be fair and to show that I am a believer.\u201d Is that what you want to happen? How does this situation get remedied?<\/p>\n

You people claim to have all the answers on this. It\u2019s us, right? We\u2019re the racist, sexist, bigot, homophobes and you can\u2019t even come up with a presidential field that doesn\u2019t have a bunch of lunatic billionaires at the top of it. And we\u2019re supposed to accept your ideas for transforming and remaking America into this so-called brilliant civil rights society. And you people can\u2019t even do it within your own subset. I\u2019m sorry. I just have to laugh.<\/p>\n

You see, the will of the people is not good, folks. Democrat Party voters are voting. They are expressing their preferences. They didn\u2019t like Kamala Harris. That means something is wrong with the voters and something\u2019s wrong with the Democrat Party. People exercising their actual freedom of choice at a ballot box is unacceptable to these people.<\/p>\n

Now, we can sit here and laugh at this all we want, as I have just done and I\u2019ve shown how. But the bottom line, what\u2019s he mad at? He\u2019s mad at free choice. He\u2019s mad at free expression. He\u2019s mad that people didn\u2019t do what he wanted them to do. He\u2019s mad that Democrat voters didn\u2019t vote the way he thinks they should. Well, who the hell is he? Is he leading the pack? No. He\u2019s gonna be the next to go. And when he goes, there literally isn\u2019t gonna be any people of color in there unless they want to try to say that somebody like Fauxcahontas is still 1\/1,000th Indian.<\/p>\n

\"\"I\u2019m sorry. I forgot about the diminutive Julian Castro. Right. But he\u2019s not African-American person of color. He is Hispanic. He doesn\u2019t have a chance either. So he\u2019s gonna be gone. Who the rest is gonna be gone? Crazy Bernie\u2019s gonna be gone. Klobuchar is gonna be gone. Tom Steyer, rich billionaire, he doesn\u2019t have a prayer. By the way, John Kerry, who served in Vietnam, just endorsed Plugs.<\/p>\n

Plugs is gonna be their nominee. Who else is it gonna be? Elizabeth Warren cannot possibly resurrect. And then the party, bye-bye women. And when Pete goes, bye-bye gays. And bye-bye black when Cory Booker goes, and when Crazy Bernie goes, bye-bye old guy, and when Fauxcahontas goes, bye-bye Indian and white chick, and they\u2019re gonna be left with who? A guy with fake hair who literally did meddle in Ukraine\u2019s internal politics and whose son goes to jiggle joints and gets caught in the process.<\/p>\n

And that might open the door for Hillary. (laughing) No, seriously. Seriously. Cory Booker, he literally is — you should see him. He\u2019s pained in his face and he\u2019s wringing his hands. He\u2019s very, very upset, very upset that his party, the presidential field is white billionaires. Very upset. Very upset. Well, sorry. People are exercising their free choice. A lot of people don\u2019t think Kamala Harris is qualified or would be a good candidate. So you want to hold it against the voters?<\/p>\n

Cory, what\u2019s supposed to happen? What percentage of the Democrat voting bloc is supposed to vote for her just to vote for her just to keep her alive for appearances sake? Is that why people in your party are supposed to vote? Well, you better go talk to whatever the percentage that she needs to stay alive and tell \u2019em how they\u2019re supposed to vote, otherwise this is what you\u2019re gonna get.<\/p>\n

You know, when people exercise their own choices and it doesn\u2019t result in what these authoritarians want, look what they do. He\u2019s already out there lamenting something\u2019s wrong with his party. Well, there is. But he just doesn\u2019t know what.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I mentioned moments ago that John Kerry, who served in Vietnam, has — at least I\u2019m told. I haven\u2019t actually seen it. I\u2019m told he officially endorsed Plugs, Joe Biden. Now, Austan Goolsbee. Remember that name? Austan Goolsbee, who was Council of Economic Advisers for Barack Obama, has come out and endorsed Mayor Pete. I think what\u2019s happening is that many of the homosexual members of the Obama administration are actually gonna endorse Mayor Pete.<\/p>\n

Reggie Love has endorsed Mayor Pete. Does the name Reggie Love…? Well, here\u2019s what it says here. “Democratic presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg,<\/a>” affectionately known as Mayor Pete, “scored endorsements from three former Obama administration officials, his campaign said Thursday, including from the ex-president\u2019s personal aide” and body man, Reggie Love. What body man means is that wherever Obama went. Reggie Love was there — everywhere Obama went, even more than the Secret Service.<\/p>\n

“Former Council of Economic Advisers Chairman Austan Goolsbee and former Director of Communications for the White House Office of Health Reform Linda Douglass are also backing” Mayor Pete. “The endorsement from [Reggie] Love, who is African-American, is noteworthy for Buttigieg, who has been putting more energy into wooing black voters after struggling to connect with them so far this campaign season.” That\u2019s true. Mayor Pete is having trouble with African-American Democrats — and getting the support, the endorsement of Obama\u2019s body man, Reggie Love, that would appear to be a big deal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
