<\/p>\nRUSH: Now, CNN. CNN has immune shots and visas for the reporters to go to different regions of the country to try to find evidence that their never-ending criticism of Donald Trump is working. They\u2019re desperate to find Trump voters who are fed up. They want to find Trump voters who\u2019ve had it. They want to find Trump voters who are ready to throw Trump overboard, not vote for him again. They\u2019re desperate to find anybody that agrees Trump must go, he must be impeached.<\/p>\n
So last night on CNN they got a show called The Lead. The senior national correspondent, Kyung Lah, reported about what voters in Racine, Wisconsin, think about impeachment. And let\u2019s see. We got three bites. Here\u2019s the first one.<\/p>\n

LAH: Are people talking about impeachment here?<\/p>\n
SARAH: It is not what you\u2019re hearing at the coffee shop. It\u2019s not what I\u2019m hearing when I\u2019m at the hardware store.<\/p>\n

LAH: (voiceover\/b-roll noise) We meet Democrat Bruce Dunn. Dunn cares most about the economy and healthcare. What about impeachment? You didn\u2019t mention impeachment?<\/p>\n
BRUCE: I kinda don\u2019t like impeachment. You know the people that\u2019s on his side, I don\u2019t think they\u2019re gonna jump ship because of it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wow. So, CNN goes to Racine, Wisconsin, these are Democrats, folks, they\u2019re out there talking to Democrats who are not bringing up impeachment, like F. Chuck Todd, Meet the Press Sunday, he told the audience, \u201cWe had to bring it up. We had to bring up impeachment. Nobody\u2019s talking about it.\u201d Same thing for CNN, Racine, Wisconsin. They found Republicans fired up by impeachment.<\/p>\n
The Democrat Party — you\u2019re gonna hear this in the bites coming up \u2013 the Democrat Party knocked on 50,000 doors this past weekend, you know, get out the vote efforts. Nobody brought up impeachment. Here is the second report from Kyung Lah, the senior national correspondent at CNN in Racine, Wisconsin, talking to other people. Let\u2019s just listen.<\/p>\n
UNIDENTIFIED REPUBLICAN FEMALE: Absolutely ridiculous.<\/p>\n
LAH: (voiceover\/b-roll noise) Unlike the Democrats, Wisconsin Republicans are talking about impeachment.<\/p>\n

KEN: These Republican people are very enthused.<\/p>\n
LAH: Is impeachment then helping you or helping the Democrats?<\/p>\n
KEN: I think it\u2019s definitely helping the Republican Party right now. I say go for it. Bring it on.<\/p>\n
SALLY: We\u2019re just digging in our heels deeper to fight what they\u2019re going to do. And we will do it by voting.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Oh, it\u2019s just not going CNN\u2019s way. They can\u2019t find any Democrats that care about impeachment. The Republicans do, but because it is firing them up and they are saying, “Bring it on, it\u2019s only going to increase voter turnout.\u201d Here\u2019s the next example.<\/p>\n

LAH: Wisconsin Democrats say they knocked on more than 50,000 doors just this weekend. That is double the number that Trump won the state of Wisconsin by in 2016. And here\u2019s some instant polling for you. I asked the party just now, did anyone bring up impeachment? And they said no. It is not something that Democrats are bringing up organically.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Now, let me put this in perspective for you. CNN is the impeachment network. That is all you will see. If you tune in CNN, that\u2019s all you\u2019re gonna see. You\u2019re gonna see the ongoing and latest supposed breaking news of the impeachment saga. And when they\u2019re not talking about impeachment, they\u2019re talking about what an absolute reprobate Donald Trump is.<\/p>\n
And if they\u2019re not talking about that, they\u2019re talking about how he colluded with Russia. And if they\u2019re not talking about that, they\u2019re talking about the whistleblower with the goods on Trump. It\u2019s Trump, Trump, Trump all the time, mostly impeachment. They go out to Wisconsin, which is the state Trump won, go out to Wisconsin, and the Democrats are not talking about it.<\/p>\n
Folks, let me make this personal. Let\u2019s say that I, your host, got on a subject, and I didn\u2019t stop talking about it for a year, over half you would be gone by that time, but I keep going because I\u2019m obsessed and because I don\u2019t care about my audience. I only care about getting rid of Trump. I only care about satisfying other people that agree with me.<\/p>\n
And then I decide to go outside my studio. I decide to go somewhere and I get there and I\u2019m expecting to hear all kinds of people pat me on the back and praise me and thank me and bring up impeachment, tell me how much they hate Trump, how much they can\u2019t wait for Trump to go and how great a job I\u2019ve been doing in helping get rid of Trump. And nobody says a word to me.<\/p>\n

You know I\u2019m gonna feel like? I\u2019m gonna feel like I\u2019ve been wasting my time. I\u2019m gonna feel like, what, have you not been listening? They\u2019re not even talking about it? I\u2019m telling you, these CNN people have to be in a state of shock. And I mean psychologically. They have devoted the entirety of their network to getting rid of Donald Trump, regardless, be it Trump-Russia collusion, be it Avenatti, be it Stormy Daniels, be it Kavanaugh, you pick it, everything that has popped up, they\u2019ve gone all-in.<\/p>\n
They go out to Wisconsin. They can\u2019t find anybody who\u2019s talking about it. They encounter abject irrelevance. Now, they should know this is gonna happen \u2019cause they don\u2019t have any audience. They\u2019re a national news network basically piddling around with a million people tops. What are the odds state by state they\u2019re gonna encounter anybody that watches? But I\u2019m telling you, they\u2019ll never report it this way, but they are devastated.<\/p>\n
Now, next they went to Austin, Texas. CNN goes to Austin, Texas. They want to talk to liberal Democrats, and they can\u2019t believe this. They found a bunch of liberal Democrats who support the Republican governor and his effort to clean up homelessness. CNN New Day today correspondent Ed Lavandera reporting about the homeless problem in Austin.<\/p>\n
LAVANDERA: (voice over, b-roll noise) Cleo Petricek says she quickly saw growing tent camps popping up under the highways near her home. She\u2019s fed up with the way city officials are fighting what she sees as a crisis.<\/p>\n

CLEO: Homeless is not a crime. Absolutely it\u2019s not. But the behavior behind it that you see when it increases to, you know, recklessness, aggressive panhandling, actively using drugs and drug needles. Look, there\u2019s a drug top right there.<\/p>\n
LAVANDERA: Do you think Governor Abbott is helping here?<\/p>\n
CLEO: Absolutely. Absolutely.<\/p>\n
LAVANDERA: (voice over, b-roll noise) Cleo Petricek is a self-described liberal who has never voted for a Republican. She says it pains her to welcome Governor Abbott\u2019s tweets.<\/p>\n

RUSH: What have I said? Folks, remember when the Democrats started their campaign and all of them were on a debate stage, 23 of them the first debate stage, and homelessness did not come up, and the city leaders in Los Angeles said they were mad. They expected the Democrats to talk about it. And I told \u2019em you\u2019re crazy. The Democrats are not gonna talk about anything going on in California because you already own the state. They\u2019re not gonna focus on anything you care about because it\u2019s your fault.<\/p>\n
There\u2019s not a Republican fingerprint on anything in California, including homelessness, and so these candidates for president are not even gonna mention California \u2019cause there\u2019s no upside. These city council people in LA continue to complain that nobody was talking about homelessness. It\u2019s a Democrat problem and the Democrats are not talking about it. So now here is a Democrat in Austin — which is an almost purely liberal enclave in Texas — and nobody\u2019s talking about homelessness except the Republican governor.<\/p>\n
He\u2019s tweeting about it, and she reluctantly says it\u2019s good because nobody else is! This is a classic line. “Lavandera: ‘Cleo Petricek is a self-described liberal who has never voted for a Republican. She says it pains her to welcome Governor Abbott\u2019s tweets.\u2019 Petricek: ‘Somebody\u2019s listening to us because when it comes down to it, we all live here.'” Democrats don\u2019t want to talk about it. Austin is a Democrat city. The Democrats are not gonna talk about it, like they\u2019re not gonna talk about it in LA.<\/p>\n
They\u2019ll not talk about the human feces piles in San Francisco or any of that stuff. But the people in Austin and in LA, skid row, San Francisco, have to live with this stuff. And, frankly, they\u2019re getting tired of hearing Donald Trump blamed for it. He\u2019s got nothing to do with it, nor does any other Republican. Meanwhile, tune in CNN any day, what do you hear? “Trump\u2019s bad. Trump\u2019s gotta go. Trump\u2019s being impeached” and so forth.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, they can\u2019t find anybody in Wisconsin, in Ohio, in Florida — they can\u2019t find any Democrat — who cares. They have to bring it up to them. Folks, I am telling you what the media, NBC and CNN… What they have encountered this week, they will never share with you. I mean, the people at NBC were mouth-wide-open kind of shocked. Al Joker and his crew on the Today show after they heard the sound bites were shocked and surprised, but they\u2019re not gonna talk about it.<\/p>\n

But I\u2019m telling you, they are questioning everything they\u2019re doing. They can\u2019t find any evidence that they are persuading people, and all they\u2019re doing is going wall-to-wall with it. This is the kind of stuff that can destroy egos. The media egos — do not doubt me — are as fragile as a balsawood home. They live in this world where everybody loves \u2019em and everybody hangs on every word and they\u2019re all powerful. They\u2019re primary influencers.<\/p>\n
And they go out where people actually live and find out they\u2019re not even factors.<\/p>\n
