RUSH: Sarah Palin was in Alaska. Michael Reagan went up there for a speech, and she introduced Michael Reagan. Sarah Palin in Alaska yesterday.<\/p>\n

PALIN: Friends, we need to be aware of the creation of a fearful population and of fearful lawmakers being led to believe that big government is the answer. To bail out the private sector because then, government gets to get in there and control it and, mark my words, this is going to happen next, I fear — bail out next, debt-ridden states, then government gets to get in there and control the people.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That was Wednesday and that\u2019s Sarah Palin. Bailing out the states, that\u2019s the next thing to happen, and then you bail out the broadcast companies, then you own them. And then you bail out the newspapers and then you own them. And she\u2019s warned this is about controlling people. And, of course, it\u2019s interesting to note the Republican Party despises this woman, the powers that be in the Republican Party. She also said this.<\/p>\n

PALIN: Since when can you get outta huge national debt by creating trillions of dollars of new debt? It all really is so backwards and skewed as to sound like absolute nonsense.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Everybody is asking this question, we\u2019re all asking, ‘Where are the American people?\u2019 We all know this is not how you do it. Snerdley just told me a funny story. I went back to his orifice during the break here at the top of the hour. You\u2019ve got a friend working at a bank, did you say? He\u2019s got a friend working in the loan department in a bank and said people are still coming and saying, ‘Are you issuing mortgages, are you making home loans?\u2019 The bank says, ‘Yes, we are.\u2019 And Snerdley\u2019s friend said people are coming in asking, ‘Can we still get a mortgage with no money down? Can we still get a mortgage even though we can\u2019t pay it back?\u2019 See, it\u2019s amazing what people learn and what they hear and what they think is available. ‘Oh, we can still maybe get a mortgage without a down payment?\u2019 <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
