CALLER: Let me ask a question: Why doesn\u2019t Mr. Trump just turn around and drop the hammer, do a TV press conference with Mr. Barr next to him and show the FISA report, release the FISA report, release all the documents proving Spygate happened, change the conversation, and start making these Democrats act like cockroaches when the lights are turned out?<\/p>\n
RUSH: I think it\u2019s gonna happen. I just don\u2019t think it\u2019s gonna happen now. I think it\u2019s gonna happen. Barr\u2019s in the process. We\u2019re gonna get the inspector general report the end of the month. It was gonna be tomorrow, but now it\u2019s not gonna be tomorrow. We\u2019re gonna get this stuff. We\u2019re gonna get this stuff. We\u2019re in a race. We\u2019re gonna get this stuff, but the timing has to be such that it has impact beyond just that day.<\/p>\n
CALLER: Do you think we\u2019ll see it soon?<\/p>\n
RUSH: I think, yes, because I think there\u2019s gonna be indictments. I\u2019ve talked to enough people who I have implicit faith in, who just in this week have told me they have renewed optimism that there are gonna be indictments. If there are indictments, damn well we\u2019re gonna know. Now, they could be sealed initially, but we\u2019re gonna know. At some point, Robert, we\u2019ll know.<\/p>\n
CALLER: Awesome.<\/p>\n
RUSH: I\u2019m pretty confident. I wish I could give you this as ontological certitude but all I can tell you is this is what I really strongly think is going to happen.<\/p>\n
CALLER: (audio drops) — about that Yovanovitch ordering like monitoring of Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham. I mean, this is crazy.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay. Here\u2019s what the caller was talking about. We had the caller potted down. That means the volume was turned down. The potentiometer was turned up, “potted down.” We in broadcasting, we don\u2019t say “turn the volume up” and “turn the volume down.” We say, “Pot \u2019em up” or “pot \u2019em down.” “Pot” is short for “potentiometer.” Anyway, the caller was “potted down” because the board op thought I was through with the caller. It was a board op mistake. So I got enough. I heard the name Yovanovitch. So here\u2019s what the caller was talking about.<\/p>\n
The Obama-appointed ambassador — and, by the way, what other host would do this? What other host would endeavor during the break to try to find out what the caller was talking about so that the caller doesn\u2019t feel like he had wasted his time calling? There no other host who would do this. Just so you know. So the Yovanovitch (that\u2019s the name here) is the Obama-appointed ambassador to Ukraine who was a Never Trumper, big time anti-Trumper. “Judicial Watch has documents that show that this Yovanovitch,” it\u2019s a she, “ordered her staff to monitor the social media of” Hannity, Ingraham, Dan Bongino and a bunch of other conservatives.<\/p>\n
