I\u2019m a <a href=\"\/\/home\/Rush247.guest.html\">24\/7 customer<\/a>, and I have a bone to pick with you.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Yeah?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/members.premiereinteractive.com\/store\/28566\/41863_3.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/01125111.Par.89380.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"236\" class=\"alignright\"\/><\/a>CALLER: I believe that you are responsible for me not getting into Yale medical school. And the reason I say this is because this was last fall during the beginning of the whole class-envy warfare and all that stuff, and I was up there during my interview, went well, it was the end, we were getting all buddy-buddy and they started talking about the Patriots and I guess they were bitter about Brady being hurt or something so then one of the people said &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Wait, wait, wait, wait, hold it hold it hold it, you\u2019re talking fast. I want to keep up with you here.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: You\u2019re conducting your interview to get into Yale medical school.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yes, sir.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Is that right? And during the interview they, the Yale people, are talking to you about the New England Patriots?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yes, sir.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Okay. Continue from there.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Okay, so they started talking about the Patriots and then one of them piped up and said how she doesn\u2019t like how they get paid so much money to do something they love. So having listened to your show for a long time, I just without thinking &#8212; <\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Wait, wait, wait, a second. The people at Yale medical school interviewing you for admission first said they were upset about Tom Brady being injured &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yes, sir.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: &#8212; they were bitter about that, and then one of them piped up and said how she doesn\u2019t like it how the football players get paid so much money to do something they love?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yes, sir.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Okay.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: And so I said, &#8216;Is everyone supposed to hate their jobs?\u2019 And I didn\u2019t really get a response, and the interview ended quite quickly, and I haven\u2019t really heard from them since. <\/p>\n<p>RUSH: (laughing)<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: So I\u2019m kind of blaming you on this one.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: No, no, no. You are looking at this the wrong way. This is one of these things you\u2019re going to look back on in your life and thank me for. Why are you applying to Yale medical school anyway? <\/p>\n<p>CALLER: I have no idea.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: All they\u2019re going to teach you to do is how to take Medicare checks and reduce your salary.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: I figure it\u2019s close enough to AIG houses, I can go visit them, too.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: But that still was a great response. So you got this woman who\u2019s part of the admissions team or the interview team complaining and moaning about people who get paid so much because they\u2019re doing what they love.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: And you said, what are we supposed to do, do something we hate to earn a lot of money?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Because, see, her definition of work is doing something you don\u2019t like.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Everybody is supposed to hate it.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: And this is the problem with most people. Most people ought to strive to find the work that is what they love so it isn\u2019t work and that\u2019s when you\u2019ll do it the best you can, that\u2019s when you will earn the most that\u2019s possible, whatever is possible in your field. Look, so you didn\u2019t hear from them. Did you apply to any other medical schools?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yeah, I\u2019ve already accepted an offer to another school that I probably shouldn\u2019t mention lest they be spying.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Yeah, it\u2019s sad to say. I have to agree with you here. Is it close to home anyway?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yes, sir, it is.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Okay. Well, yeah, that\u2019s fine. I would say that the medical school you\u2019re going to &#8212; it\u2019s going to be close here &#8212; the medical school you\u2019re going to is probably a better end result for you anyway. You go to an Ivy League medical school in the day and age of Obama and the primary education you\u2019re going to get is how to deal with Medicare patients and how to get used to the government reducing your compensation every year for every year that you practice. I mean, Obama said he\u2019s going to squeeze the doctors. What kind of doctor do you want to be, Daniel?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: We\u2019ll cross that bridge when we get there. Not too sure. I\u2019ve always liked orthopedics so we\u2019ll see.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: So right now you\u2019re just medical school with the intent of being a GP?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Well, we\u2019ll see. I\u2019d like to be an orthopedist, so that\u2019s what I\u2019m striving for right now.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Trying to be an orthopedist. A-ha. Now, that\u2019s interesting, because an orthopedist, if you are lucky, you can end up having your own practice with primarily having athletes as your clients and Obama\u2019s never going to squeeze athletes or actors or Hollywood people, so &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: &#8212; they will have the money. You will be able to charge them confiscatory rates.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Absolutely.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, that\u2019s well done.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: But I don\u2019t know how greedy I will be. I should probably give back at some point.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, it\u2019s not greed.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: (laughing) <\/p>\n<p>RUSH: This is not greed. I am so happy you called. This is an opportunity to get your mind right. A, it was a mistake to apply to Yale medical. I helped you out not even knowing I was helping avoid that disaster. And now you\u2019re thinking that earning a living is greed. This is how liberalism just sweeps guilt all over every &#8212; it\u2019s called self-interest. Let me be serious for a moment. The greed in our country today is in the House of Representatives, the United States Senate, the Oval Office, and Sacramento, California, statehouses around the country.
