You know, he\u2019s up there, he\u2019s announcing 3% of GDP will be spent on science. From where, private sector or government? Need we ask. (laughing) It will be from the government. He was at the National Academy of Sciences where he was going to announce this big plan to spend all this money on science, and he\u2019s going through the speech, he notices that he\u2019s introducing people he\u2019s already introduced. So he tells the teleprompter to speed up.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/01125107.Par.89380.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"450\" class=\"alignright\"\/>OBAMA: Our cochairs have already been introduced, Dr. Varmus and Dr. Lander, along with John, and this council represents leaders from many scientific disciplines who will bring a diversity of experiences and use. And I will charge PCAST with advising me about national strategies to nurture and sustain a culture of scientific innovation. In addition to John &#8212; sorry, the, uh &#8212; I just noticed that I &#8212; I jumped the gun here. Go ahead and move it up. (laughter) I\u2019d already &#8212; I had already introduced all you guys.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: He\u2019s forgotten who they are. He\u2019d forgotten who they are and he just had to mention their names again while they sped the teleprompter up, forgot who they were, folks, doesn\u2019t even know!<\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: I\u2019ve been deluged with requests to replay President Obama being screwed here by his teleprompter.<\/p>\n<p>OBAMA: Our cochairs have already been introduced, Dr. Varmus and Dr. Lander, along with John, and this council represents leaders from many scientific disciplines who will bring a diversity of experiences and use. I mean, he could have covered, he could have vamped, he could have introduced them again as a joke but he had forgot who they are, they\u2019re sitting right there, doesn\u2019t know their names, so he has to tell the teleprompter to speed it up, that he jumped the gun, he went off prompter. And this is very strange. I mean the prompter had to know that he\u2019d gone off prompter but the prompter didn\u2019t know what to do then because it doesn\u2019t usually happen. So the prompter got paralyzed. It just stopped. Normally, the prompter, when you go off the prompter, the prompter tries to follow along and pick up where you left off and you\u2019re going to resume, but there was a total breakdown here in &#8212; I love this prompter. You know, every now and then this prompter just shows Obama who the boss is.
