CALLER: Hi, Rush. When you play audio clips of previous shows you\u2019ve done to prove you\u2019re right or bring back a comment you had said, do you process the audio in some way, like compress it to give a cue to the listener that it\u2019s not live? I seem to notice a slight change in —<\/p>\n
RUSH: Yes, exactly right. We put it through the same processing that we make Al Sharpton sound like he\u2019s on a megaphone.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, exactly. So you know what he\u2019s talking about, grab audio sound bite number 1. I think we did it on the first sound bite today, and it\u2019s me from back in July telling people don\u2019t think the Democrats are gonna be shooting each other all the way through the campaign. They won\u2019t. Here is what he is talking about.<\/p>\n
RUSH ARCHIVE: Folks, the Democrats are already unified against Trump. I don\u2019t care about this circular firing squad they\u2019ve got going on. They\u2019re unified against Trump. When it comes to the 2020 election, there isn\u2019t gonna be any circular firing squad.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Okay. That\u2019s enough to hear it. That\u2019s not as pronounced as it sometimes is, but you\u2019re exactly right. We do that to differentiate live from tape.<\/p>\n
