RUSH: The Washington Post has a story: “Trump Pushing for Major Crackdown on Homeless Camps in California, with Aides Discussing Moving Residents to Government-Backed Facilities<\/a>.”\u00a0 Let\u2019s see here.\u00a0 One, two, three, four journalists on this story.\u00a0 Now, I\u2019m sure many of you are recalling at this very moment that it was I, El Rushbo, who said that it would be a great idea for Trump to go to California<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Not to try to win the state, but just show the flag.\u00a0 It\u2019s a one-party state.\u00a0 It\u2019s a one-party media state.\u00a0 Simply go to California and tell the people there that life doesn\u2019t have to be that way!\u00a0 This homelessness in LA County… Actually, forget the county. It\u2019s downtown LA.\u00a0 There\u2019s a police department right near skid row.\u00a0 It\u2019s become a tent city.\u00a0 Folks, do you know what\u2019s happening?\u00a0 Diseases that we have cured are popping up, like the Plague and some other things. They may be popping up in these homeless shelters in these tent cities because there are people there that have come in to the country illegally as well.<\/p>\n

I mean, it is a potential festering cesspool, and I first became aware of it when the Democrat leadership of Los Angeles started complaining after the first Democrat debate that none of the candidates… Remember, there are 20 of \u2019em. None of them talked about the problem of homelessness in Los Angeles, or San Francisco, or California at large.\u00a0 So I very shrewdly pointed out to them, “They\u2019re not gonna talk about.\u00a0 Why should they?\u00a0 They own the state of California.\u00a0 They\u2019re not gonna talk about homelessness in LA.\u00a0 Why focus on a problem in a Democrat state?\u00a0 Why call people\u2019s attention to a problem they have made possible that they have grown and that they can\u2019t fix?<\/p>\n

“The Democrats are gonna ignore it totally.\u00a0 You people in LA, you\u2019re not gonna get any help from your Democrat presidential candidates.\u00a0 They\u2019re gonna ignore it.\u00a0 They\u2019re not even gonna reference it.\u00a0 They\u2019re not gonna talk about it.\u00a0 They\u2019re not gonna offer a solution.\u00a0 Because to do so would be to the focus on the problems they have, that you have as Democrats.”\u00a0 That\u2019s why I said Trump ought to go.\u00a0 Go out there, plant the flag, show people there\u2019s another way of life, there\u2019s another way of living.\u00a0 It doesn\u2019t have to be this way.<\/p>\n

You know, not with the crazy idea of winning the state, but at some point, you have to start making a move there.\u00a0 Others think, “Nah, Rush! California is gone.\u00a0 What we have to do now is make sure there aren\u2019t any more Californias.”\u00a0 Well, they\u2019re trying to make Texas a new California, and they\u2019re doing this with open borders, immigration, rampant poverty, which creates dependence on government at all levels.\u00a0 This is what the Democrats are trying to do.\u00a0 That\u2019s gotta be stopped.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why Trump ought to go, and I think… Well, let me just say this is a great idea, “Trump Pushing for Major Crackdown on Homeless Camps in California … Discussing Moving” them out of these tent cities and into “Government-Backed Facilities,” for the purposes of public health if nothing else.\u00a0 I wish I could remember… It was either yesterday or Monday there was a story about some specific disease.\u00a0 I think it was the Plague.\u00a0 I know the Plague was mentioned, but I don\u2019t know what else.\u00a0 There was one other that we\u2019ve cured!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

It is not a problem in the United States, but it has surfaced in one of these tent cities in California.\u00a0 So for health reasons alone the president ought to do this.\u00a0 I applaud this.\u00a0 The Washington Post claims anonymous sources told \u2019em yesterday President Trump\u2019s pushing the effort here to address the homelessness situation in California.\u00a0 Politically, folks, it makes all the sense in the world.\u00a0 The Democrats can\u2019t talk about it.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know about you.\u00a0 The only time the Democrats talk about homelessness is when there\u2019s a Republican in the White House.<\/p>\n

You didn\u2019t hear about homelessness when Obama was president.\u00a0 So now Trump\u2019s gonna go out there. Since the Democrat candidates can\u2019t — they can\u2019t talk about it — Trump will.\u00a0 I like it.\u00a0 I hope that it does happen.\u00a0 Let\u2019s see. They “have discussed using the federal government to get homeless people off the streets of Los Angeles and other cities and into new government-backed facilities… Among the ideas [supposedly] under consideration are razing,” r-a-z-i-n-g, tent camps. Not building them but replacing them, destroying them and replacing them with “new temporary facilities and refurbishing existing government facilities…”<\/p>\n

Now, the ACLU won\u2019t permit — the reason the left doesn\u2019t really want to clean this up, you know why? Why would you think, Mr. Snerdley? Why do you think the left loves homelessness, tent cities? Because to them they can point and say, \u201cSee, capitalism doesn\u2019t work, look at these people.\u201d That\u2019s exactly why. They\u2019ll look at all poverty, they\u2019ll look at all degrees of people living in poverty or degrees of being peer and they\u2019ll they say, \u201cSee? This is what capitalism does.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why they don\u2019t fix it. Not to mention they don\u2019t want to call attention to their own policies is the reason. The homeless are meant to show us every day what a failure capitalism is. The Washington Post says this all part of an effort by Trump to shine a light on the problems of California under Democrat leadership. Well, hell\u2019s bells. Can\u2019t deny that that\u2019s true. It\u2019s not just Washington Post. Breitbart has that story. So there must be something to it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Leprosy is the other disease that has been discovered in these tent cities. Leprosy. We have cured that in the United States. Leprosy is not just a place where you put people with the disease and forget about \u2019em and they have this odd physical appearance. You can lose toes and fingers with it. It\u2019s a deadly, horrible disease. And we wiped it out in the United States and a large part of the world, but not everywhere.<\/p>\n

And they have seen evidence that it might be — I don\u2019t know what the medical term — not present, but they\u2019re concerned about it in parts of California, and typhus as well. All these things we\u2019ve wiped out. And the open borders crowd says we don\u2019t deserve to have wiped them out if the rest of the world is still suffering from them. And folks, not making that up. The American left today: \u201cOkay, we\u2019ve wiped out leprosy, but it\u2019s not fair! We should still be getting leprosy if they\u2019re getting it anywhere else in the world because it\u2019s our fault they still are.\u201d It\u2019s just sick.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
