RUSH: Grab audio sound bite number 27. I\u2019m wondering where the hell this came from. Oh, I see. They\u2019re talking about Cigar Aficionado magazine<\/a>. That\u2019s a magazine that was founded and operated, published by my really, really good cigar buddy Marvin Shanken.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s one of the best men\u2019s lifestyle magazines. It\u2019s not just about cigars. It was when it debuted back in the early nineties, it was a cigar magazine, but it\u2019s way beyond that now. It\u2019s men\u2019s lifestyle, and it\u2019s superb. They still rate the greatest cigars in the country, in the world, and all that.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And so I guess Nick Jonas, world-renowned singer of some repute, is apparently on the cover of the latest issue of Cigar Aficionado, and this has upset Maude Behar and the babes over at The View.<\/p>\n

BEHAR: Cigars are disgusting to be around.<\/p>\n

McCain: No, they\u2019re not.<\/p>\n

BEHAR: They\u2019re disgusting.<\/p>\n

McCain: No, they\u2019re not.<\/p>\n

BEHAR: It\u2019s like everybody who smokes a cigar must smell like Rush Limbaugh (laughter starts) must smell.<\/p>\n

MCCAIN: Okay, first of all, it —<\/p>\n

BEHAR: They\u2019re disgusting and pollute the air around you.<\/p>\n

RUSH: (laughing) Good grief. Even when cigars come up I\u2019m on their minds. Let me tell you something, folks. I only smoke the finest, the finest tasting. I can\u2019t tell you the number of people come in here, \u201cMan, does that smell good.\u201d And I\u2019m not talking about people that smoke cigars. I\u2019m talking about women, the chef comes in, custodial crew, doesn\u2019t matter, they come, \u201cWow, that smells good.\u201d<\/p>\n

But when has Maude ever been around me smoking a cigar? (imitating Behar) \u201cIt\u2019s like everybody that smokes a cigar must smell like Rush Limbaugh must smell.\u201d (laughing) It was Meghan McCain, by the way, who was defending cigars. That was the voice there said, \u201cNo, they\u2019re not.\u201d It was Meghan McCain.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I have a quick question before we go to the break. When the subject of cigars comes up and however they smell to you and you\u2019re Maude Behar, why doesn\u2019t the name Bill Clinton first occur to you? Instead of me? I\u2019m never around Maude Behar. I ran into Maude at the screening of an HBO movie Cindy Adams took me purposely to cause chaos, and it did. And I ran up and I gave Maude a hug.<\/p>\n

\"\"She turned around (doing impression), “What are you doing here? Oh, my God. How did he get \u2013” And she was serious. She thought something had really gone wrong with HBO\u2019s security. \u201cHow did you get in here? Get away!\u201d<\/p>\n

I said, \u201cMy gosh. We used to work down the hall from one another in New York.\u201d But I wasn\u2019t smoking a cigar that night. This is many, many moons ago now, folks. It wasn\u2019t any time recent. Why didn\u2019t she think of Bill Clinton when she hears cigars? Why was it my name popped onto her radar?<\/p>\n
