RUSH: The New York Post has a story today<\/a>, a new study by the University of Georgia. Now, keep in mind, the leftists are infiltrating Georgia. They\u2019re infiltrating North Carolina. The Yankees are leaving New York\/New Jersey. They\u2019re moving to Georgia, they\u2019re moving to Florida, they\u2019re moving to North Carolina, and they\u2019re bringing the things that are forcing them to leave their states with them. They\u2019re leaving their states because of the high cost of liberalism. What are they doing?<\/p>\n

They\u2019re going to Georgia or North Carolina, and they\u2019re recreating the same political systems by electing the same destructive people (sigh) that drove them out of New York and New Jersey (and, in some cases, Illinois) in the first place. At any rate… “A new study by the University of Georgia found that teenagers who don\u2019t date are less depressed and fared better or equal to their dating peers.” Fared better? What? “The study found that adolescents in middle and high school who weren\u2019t dating were far from awkward misanthropes, but had good social skills and low depression.”<\/p>\n

So what are we supposed to take from this? Don\u2019t date, just hook up. Want sex, go do it. Don\u2019t bother dating anybody. Don\u2019t go to the prom, don\u2019t ask anybody out, don\u2019t go pick \u2019em up, don\u2019t meet the parents. Just hook up. You\u2019ll be less depressed, you\u2019ll be more satisfied, and you\u2019ll end up not being socially awkward. You won\u2019t be rejected. See, in dating, you get rejected. Do you know how many times men are told “no”? (interruption) Yeah. (laughing) Women have no problem saying “no.” They have none.<\/p>\n

Snerdley, if the roles were reversed and it was women calling you to ask you out, would you say “yes” to every one of \u2019em? Would you…? (interruption) You\u2019d say yes to almost everyone of them. Women say no to most of them, with no feeling, with no compunction whatsoever. But men would be overwhelmed with guilt and flattery at the same time. “What? You want to…? Sure! Sure! Absolutely.” It\u2019s the way of the world. No, seriously.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re making the point here that — and this is a University of Georgia study — teenagers who do not date don\u2019t face rejection. They don\u2019t face feelings of inferiority. They\u2019re just happier. They\u2019re not as depressed. They\u2019re not awkward. They\u2019re not losing any social skills by not dating. They\u2019re just avoiding all of the hurtful aspects of being rejected.<\/p>\n

You know what Woody Allen said about success and wealth. It\u2019s no different. You\u2019re just rejected by a higher class of woman. Nothing changes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
