Twenty-year EIB alumnus, proud Reagan revolutionary dittos to you, sir.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Thank you el mucho, Irving.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/01125114.Par.89380.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"197\" height=\"255\" class=\"alignright\"\/>CALLER: Well, Rush, I don\u2019t know why I don\u2019t hear any anger. I don\u2019t know why no one is angry today. I\u2019m very, very upset at what\u2019s going on. All of these things that are going, and I don\u2019t know what to do. I mean, I know we voted, and that\u2019s in the past, and that\u2019s fine, but as you say, four years of this? I don\u2019t see much anger. I don\u2019t even see it with the Republicans. The closest one that I see that\u2019s angry is this fellow named Daniel Hannan. He\u2019s the closest that I see to any righteous indignation &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Wait a second. Irving, hang on a second out there. There\u2019s a lot of people that are angry and they\u2019re organizing things called tea parties, and there are going to be a slew of them on April 15th. They\u2019re going to be huge, they\u2019re getting so big that some local communities are looking for ways to shut them down on the pretext that they can\u2019t guarantee security. There\u2019s going to be a big one in Kansas City, big one in St. Louis, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, they\u2019re going to be big in Atlanta. There are thousands, hundreds of thousands, maybe more people that are angry. It\u2019s just the Drive-By Media doesn\u2019t report it. The Republicans are not angry, they\u2019re not professing any anger, they are just opposing all this but they can\u2019t stop it, don\u2019t have enough votes.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Well, I\u2019m glad you mentioned about the tea parties because I remember, and I\u2019m a student of the tea parties, and I\u2019ll tell you, I know what they did in those tea parties, and I understand we\u2019re in a different era, but the tea parties were throwing things overboard, dressing up, you know, eventually to tar and feather stuff, I mean I\u2019m talking about a real core &#8212; I hope that what you\u2019re saying is correct, because something needs to be done, Rush, and I hope the tea parties are the start of it.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: I think they are. I think there\u2019s a lot of anger and fear that is bubbling up out there, effervescing under the surface. It\u2019s just that right now the media is in a total slavish mode when it comes to Obama and doing everything possible to make him look good and to make it look as though none of what\u2019s happening in the country today has anything to do with him. And that\u2019s what\u2019s got you depressed. What\u2019s got you depressed is you watch the media and everybody laps it up, and a lot of people do. A lot of people do. It may not be four years, but it\u2019s going to be a long time. I mean the next opportunity to change any of this is not until 2010. Now, you can sit around and you can hope for some big blowback, and you can hope for some tipping point to be reached where magically people stand up, but I don\u2019t buy this waiting around and hoping for things to happen, things generally have to be made to happen, and I just remind you, although this is much worse, think back to the eight years of Clinton. How many times, &#8216;Something\u2019s going to happen, something\u2019s going to happen to wake the American people up,\u2019 and not even Monica Lewinsky woke \u2019em up, not even lying under oath woke \u2019em up. <\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s two ways of going at Obama, I think. Or there\u2019s a choice of two ways. I think it\u2019s a mistake to just pound policy. People aren\u2019t going to listen to it. They don\u2019t blame him. They think everything Obama\u2019s doing is done to fix what\u2019s already wrong when he got there. It\u2019s a waste of time. It\u2019s educational, and it\u2019s informative, don\u2019t misunderstand, it\u2019s gotta be done, but the thing that irritates this White House the most and the way to really put them off stride is to laugh at them, to ridicule them, and to make fun of them. To go just hands wringing and give people serious dissertations on the problems of Obama policy, yeah, I mean that has to be done, but at the same time, laughter, making fun of \u2019em, ridicule them, that\u2019s what they don\u2019t like. He\u2019s supreme leader. You don\u2019t do that. That\u2019s what will take \u2019em off stride.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RUSH: To Cartersville, Georgia, this is Irving.
