CALLER: Hi. I\u2019m sure you won\u2019t be happy after a while, but mega dittos.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you very much. I appreciate your calling.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I am a liberal. I listen to your show a lot, most of —<\/p>\n

RUSH: What country are you from?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I am from the USA.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh. You\u2019re an American liberal. Okay.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah. Where did you think I came from? I\u2019m certainly not somebody down in — I don\u2019t know, from Afghanistan.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I don\u2019t know. You just, I\u2019m sorry. You know, I have a hearing problem, I have a cochlear implant, and you do have a mannerism, a speaking mannerism that sounds international.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I don\u2019t know what that means.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You probably perfected that while at university.<\/p>\n

CALLER: No. I did not. I perfected it in Savannah, Georgia.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You\u2019re from Savannah?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes, I am. I\u2019m from Savannah, Georgia.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s a huge capitalist town, you know, they make Gulfstream jets there.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, you know what? Wonderful. I love capitalism.<\/p>\n

RUSH: It is wonderful.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I love capitalism and I\u2019m a capitalist. I am a small business owner. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, then how can you be liberal?<\/p>\n

CALLER: How can I?<\/p>\n

RUSH: You have to hate yourself, then. If you\u2019re a capitalist and a small business owner, you have to hate yourself.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Why would I hate myself? <\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, because liberals hate small business, they hate capitalism —<\/p>\n

CALLER: No, they don\u2019t. That\u2019s why I called.<\/p>\n

RUSH: — injustice and inequity and —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Thank you. That\u2019s why I called. To find out —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay, okay, hold on. Just please hold on, we\u2019ll come back after the commercial time-out. Don\u2019t go away.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Back now to Carol in Baltimore. We have a little bit more time now, Carol. I appreciate your holding on through the break.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, thank you. I\u2019m just excited that you would even have a liberal on your radio show. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, we have \u2019em on each and every time they call.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I\u2019ve never heard a liberal call in. I listen to your show every day.<\/p>\n

RUSH: No, then that\u2019s not possible.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, it is.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, wait a minute. I don\u2019t want to waste time arguing facts here.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay, we won\u2019t argue.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Please don\u2019t hit me with these — <\/p>\n

CALLER: We won\u2019t argue because I\u2019m not going to go there. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, but, see, you already started. In the first call, you said I wasn\u2019t going to be happy after talking to you. That\u2019s the first clue I had you\u2019re a liberal. The second thing is you then hit me with this gobbledygook image that we don\u2019t take liberals on this show, when that\u2019s not true. Now, you\u2019re here, and you\u2019ve been held on through the break, you\u2019re going to be given all the time you want to say whatever you want including — <\/p>\n

CALLER: Wait a minute, why are you so angry? I didn\u2019t get upset at you.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I am not angry. I\u2019m frustrated. You sound like an intelligent woman —<\/p>\n

CALLER: I am a very intelligent woman.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, then you need to do something about your level of education and understanding, \u2019cause this program does not restrict liberals from appearing.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I didn\u2019t say that you restrict. Did I use that word?<\/p>\n

RUSH: You did too. <\/p>\n

CALLER: I did not.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Here we go. You said, I\u2019m so happy, I\u2019m excited you would have a liberal on the show.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I said because I hadn\u2019t heard them. Excuse me! I hadn\u2019t heard.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Even though you said you listen every day. I warn you, do not debate my memory. Do not debate my facts.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I listen to you every day.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You will lose.<\/p>\n

CALLER: That\u2019s why I\u2019m not a Dittohead.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You must not listen all day every day because we have liberals call here all the time. I can understand why you\u2019d want to maybe forget them. They\u2019re not the most memorable phone calls, but nevertheless they do call, and we put \u2019em to the front of the line. Do you realize there are four people on hold who have been holding longer than you, but because you\u2019re a liberal you got through.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I don\u2019t want to have any kind of preference. I would just rather just call and be in line. I don\u2019t want to be a liberal.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Gee Whiz! My God. All right, I\u2019ll tell you what, we\u2019re gonna put you on hold, and we\u2019ll put the other three people ahead of you. Just hang on; we\u2019ll come back. Who\u2019s next? Where are we going next? She wanted it, folks. She wanted it. She wants equal treatment, fine, she doesn\u2019t want any preferential treatment. <\/p>\n
