RUSH: This is mildly funny. Mrs. Clinton, the gaffe presenting a gift to the Russians today. She\u2019s over there in Brussels, and she gave the Russian foreign minister a red button that was supposed to read ‘reset\u2019 in Russian. They wanted to ‘reset\u2019 our relations, so they gave them a red button. When I first saw this, I said, ‘My gosh! The red button is what you launch the nukes with. They were scared of Reagan. Here\u2019s Hillary giving the Russians a red button to launch nukes!\u2019 No. It\u2019s a red button that was supposed to read ‘reset\u2019 in Russian, but they got the word wrong. They didn\u2019t translate it right. Here\u2019s how it sounded. <\/p>\n

(camera shutters clicking)<\/p>\n

HILLARY (pedantically): I wanted to present you, represents what President Obama and Vice President Biden and I have been saying, and that is, we…want…to…\u2019reset\u2019…our…relationship. (camera shutters clicking) So we\u2019ll do it together. (witch cackle)<\/p>\n

LAVROV: Thank you very much. (camera shutters clicking)<\/p>\n

HILLARY: You\u2019re very welcome! We worked hard to get the right Russian word. Do you think we got it? <\/p>\n

LAVROV: You got it wrong.<\/p>\n

HILLARY: I\u2019ve gotten it wrong? (laughter)<\/p>\n

LAVROV: It should be ‘pereza<\/emphasize>gruzka.\u2019 <\/p>\n

HILLARY: Ahhhhhhhh!<\/p>\n

LAVROV: And this is says ‘peregruzka,\u2019 means ‘overcharge.\u2019 <\/p>\n

HILLARY: (witch cackle) Well, won\u2019t let you do that to us, I promise! Yuk, yuk, yuk, yuh!<\/p>\n

LAVROV: Okay. Thank you very much. (camera shutters clicking)<\/p>\n

HILLARY: Thank you so much.<\/p>\n

LAVROV: It\u2019s very kind of you. It will be on my desk.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Damn shutters! There are too many cameras in there. Were you able to hear what they said? Okay, what happened was Hillary goes in there and says, ‘We want to reset our relationship so we\u2019ll do it together.\u2019 She laughs that nervous cackle. <\/p>\n

Lavrov says, ‘Thank you very much.\u2019 <\/p>\n

Hillary says, ‘You\u2019re very welcome. We worked hard to get the right Russian word. Do you think we got it?\u2019 <\/p>\n

Lavrov says, ‘You got it wrong.\u2019 <\/p>\n

Hillary said, ‘I got it wrong?\u2019 <\/p>\n

And Lavrov said, ‘It should be perezagruzka.\u2019<\/p>\n

And Hillary goes, ‘Ahhhhh!\u2019 <\/p>\n

And Lavrov said, ‘Your sign say ‘peregruzka,\u2019 which means ‘overcharge.” <\/p>\n

And Hillary with the witch cackle, ‘Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! Well, we won\u2019t let you do that to us. I promise.\u2019 <\/p>\n

Lavrov says, ‘Okay, thank you very much.\u2019 <\/p>\n

Hillary: ‘Thank you so much.\u2019 <\/p>\n

Lavrov says, ‘It will be on my desk.\u2019 <\/p>\n

They gave the red button that meant to say ‘reset,\u2019 and it said ‘overcharge.\u2019 (chuckles) You know those 25 DVDs that the president gave the Prime Minister of the UK, Gordon Brown? I wonder if you meant to make those Region 2 DVDs, and I wonder what those 25 are. What do you think Michelle and Barack Obama\u2019s favorite 25 American movies are?
