I\u2019m just now watching MSNBC, and, by the way, don\u2019t expect anybody in the media to ask Robert Gibbs about the Politico story today that shows Emanuel leading Begala and Carville, probably Stephanopoulos, too, in this plan to demonize me that they\u2019ve been doing since last fall. We now know it\u2019s on the record, folks. I think it\u2019s a three-page Politico story. I don\u2019t want to read the whole thing to you, but the headline: &#8216;Rush Job: Inside Dems\u2019 Limbaugh Plan.\u2019 It\u2019s a celebration, Jonathan Martin of the Politico celebrating the brilliance of the administration in coming after me. Totally in the tank. Jonathan Martin, gotta put him in the butt boy bubble of media people along with Ed Henry. You know, Jake Tapper, by the way, was told he was not put in the butt boy bubble yesterday by me, and he said, &#8216;I\u2019m glad about that, it sounds like it\u2019s kind of smelly in there.\u2019 That\u2019s one of the things he tweeted in response to it. (laughing) I gotta put Jonathan Martin in the butt boy bubble. These guys are just ecstatic. There won\u2019t be any questions of Robert Gibbs about this inside &#8212; this is a plumber\u2019s operation &#8212; inside the White House effort to come after me. So I\u2019m watching &#8212; there she is. I don\u2019t even know who it is. But some woman is answering questions, they\u2019re still stuck on me and Steele. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/01125107.Par.89380.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"214\" class=\"alignright\"\/>I guess I should tell you what happened. Steele called me Monday night, he told me what happened, he apologized, he said, &#8216;We\u2019re on the same page. I want the same things you want,\u2019 da-da-da-da. I said, &#8216;Mr. Steele, look, I understand, it\u2019s time to move forward. I don\u2019t take these kind of things personally. I thought you gave up an opportunity or two to say some really brilliant things when you\u2019re on the D.L. Hughley show on CNN, but, you know,\u2019 we put it to bed. That\u2019s why I haven\u2019t talked about it much. As far as I\u2019m concerned, it\u2019s over, but these guys are still focusing on it. <\/p>\n<p>Now get this. The brilliant butt boy, David Shuster, is the host of this thing going on on PMSNBC, he\u2019s got this guest, and they\u2019re just supposedly wringing their hands over the lack of leadership in the Republican Party, &#8216;Oh, it\u2019s so horrible,\u2019 but get this, get this, at some point, ladies and gentlemen, the brilliant Obama and Emanuel will find some Republican they can work with to advance the Obama agenda. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RUSH: Some days the idiocy of the media surprises even me.
