Cut seven, if you will. Chris Matthews was speaking with former Maryland governor Bob Ehrlich. Chris Matthews used to have a decent TV show. There was a time when Chris Matthews guest-hosted this radio show, and his TV show used to be fairly decent. It was. But now it\u2019s descending into something that is unprofessional and perplexing, and here\u2019s an example. This is something he does once a night, three or four times a week. He brings a Republican in and demands they denounce me, and last night\u2019s challenge was Maryland governor Bob Ehrlich.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/01125115.Par.89380.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"235\" height=\"227\" class=\"alignright\"\/>MATTHEWS: Do you like Rush Limbaugh? Yes or no!<\/p>\n<p>EHRLICH: I think he\u2019s an interesting guy. I don\u2019t know him personally.<\/p>\n<p>MATTHEWS: (screaming) HA! HA! What a careful answer!<\/p>\n<p>EHRLICH: No, no. I mean it. He\u2019s &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>MATTHEWS: (screaming) What a careful &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>EHRLICH: &#8212; interesting.<\/p>\n<p>MATTHEWS: YOU ARE A MODERATE! YOU ARE A MODERATE &#8212; a private, ugh, secret moderate! That\u2019s why you answered that!<\/p>\n<p>EHRLICH: &#8216;A secret moderate,\u2019 what\u2019s that?<\/p>\n<p>MATTHEWS: Bob Ehrlich: moderate Republican!<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, we just inadvertently had Matthews confirm what I\u2019ve always told you about moderates: They won\u2019t tell you what they think. The effort continues to get any Republican to denounce me.
