RUSH: Frank Luntz was on Fox after my appearance on Hannity last night.<\/a> Grab audio sound bite number nine. This is what Frank Luntz had to say. He was on with Laura Ingraham. You know, Frank is a consultant. You may not know this, but a lot of CEOs hire Frank Luntz to come out and tell \u2019em about marketing strategy and advertising strategy and stuff. Frank goes. He puts his tennis shoes on and goes out there and talks to \u2019em, and he was reporting to Laura Ingraham\u2019s question on what he\u2019s been telling these CEOs about what he\u2019s been hearing from the Democrats during this campaign.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

LUNTZ: The language that I heard in the last 48 hours is language I\u2019ve never heard from my mainstream Democrat. This is about changing the structure of the economy in the United States, and they are determined to turn it upside down. And I gotta tell you, I\u2019ve been following this since 1992. I\u2019ve never heard candidates this extreme. I\u2019ve never heard candidates this hostile to economic freedom —<\/p>\n

INGRAHAM: Freedom period!<\/p>\n

LUNTZ: — and they\u2019ve got the base of the Democratic Party absolutely behind them.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, what that bite doesn\u2019t contain (we edited for time, of course) is that Luntz then went on to tell everybody that he\u2019s meeting with these CEOs he consults, and he\u2019s telling them that these Democrats are coming for you. They\u2019re coming for your company; they\u2019re coming for your corporation. Now, many of these CEOs bankroll the Democrats. Many of these CEOs are big Democrat donors, left-wing-cause donors. I\u2019m glad Frank is telling people this and I\u2019m glad Frank has seen this.<\/p>\n

Frank\u2019s been on the scene since 1992. That\u2019s about when I met Frank. You know, he used to run around with Kasich. He and Kasich were inseparable. When Kasich was running for the House and got elected and was one of the freshman class movers and shakers in 1994, they were constantly getting together on message. Now Kasich\u2019s gone the way of Venerable Bede but still out there appearing on CNN. My point… That\u2019s why I played the Charlie Rose sound bite from 1992 yesterday.<\/p>\n

My point is, they\u2019re not really significantly worse than they were in 1992. It\u2019s just that nobody believed \u2019em in 1992. In 1992, everybody was laughing at the things they were saying and concluding, “Nobody\u2019s gonna believe this! Nobody\u2019s gonna follow that. Nobody\u2019s gonna sign on to the wild extremism in their environmental policy.” Look, Ted Danson and his crowd were running around saying back then, “We\u2019ve only got 10 years, or we\u2019re toast,” and everybody was laughing.<\/p>\n

\"\"“He doesn\u2019t really mean it. Nobody is going to believe it.” My point was that they were who they are today 25 years ago. Now, I think the only thing that\u2019s really changed is that their camouflage has come down a little bit. They\u2019ve always been radical. That\u2019s always been my calling card. That\u2019s always been the Cleghorn here, to point out these people are radical leftists who do not like this country as founded. Now they\u2019re happening to demonstrate it so that everybody notices it, but it\u2019s always been who they are.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
