RUSH: Last week, the Attorney General William Barr announced he would resume enforcing the death penalty at the federal level after 20 years of not doing so.<\/p>\n

Now, naturally, the left wing is outraged because one of their core missions is to make sure the justice system doesn\u2019t actually punish people who break the law.<\/p>\n

So Newsweek ran an op-ed by Richard S\u00e1enz of Lambda Legal fund — you know what that is? Don\u2019t make me tell you. It was titled: \u201cBringing Back the Federal Death Penalty Will Hit LGBTQ and People of Color the Hardest.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"\"I bet some of you are shaking your heads. For years we\u2019ve been warned that \u201cminorities and women are hardest hit\u201d by any Republican policy. But how will the LGBTQ crowd be hardest hit by the reinstated federal death penalty?<\/p>\n

Well, I\u2019m glad you asked because Mr. S\u00e1enz cites a case in which a gay man was sentenced to death because the jury thought he\u2019d get \u201dtoo much enjoyment\u201d serving a life sentence in a men\u2019s prison. This supposedly proves that anti-gay discrimination \u201cpervades\u201d America\u2019s use of capital punishment.<\/p>\n

Folks, we have to face the truth here head on. Today\u2019s liberals, this is nuts, you\u2019re probably asking yourself, “What did he just say?” and frankly I don\u2019t know either. Just rely on the fact that it\u2019s stupid!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
